In North of Thailand, Sai Kam (Chosri Misommon) and her young sister Duang Jai (Naiyana Shewanan) are domestic helpers in a beautiful mansion. Krissada (Chaiya Suriyun) (คุณผู้ชาย) is the owner. The subdistrict headman Prem (Chao Klaewklong) is Duang’s father. Uuan (Juree Osiri) and Noi (Marasri Isarangkul) dream to marry Krissada. Krissada is gone to visit waterfalls with Duang. A snake bites Krissada and Duang Jai saves him. A romance starts, and a wedding promise happens. Krissada gives a ring to Duang Jai. Krissada has to leave urgently to Bangkok after receiving a telegraph. Sukon Koewliam loses Krissada’s letter he was supposed to give to Duang Jai. Duang Jai stays in a relative home to hide her pregnancy. Finally, Prem discovers that his daughter Duang Jai is pregnant. To hide his shame, the father plans to marry Duang as soon as possible. Prem wants to hide that Krissada is the father as he doesn't believe Duang Jai is telling the truth. As he owns a lot to Krissada's father, he nevertheless refuses to damage Krissada's honor. Sai Kam and Duang are enchained but Duang succeeds to flee. She tries to go to Bangkok but has no money, so she walks by following the railway tracks to Bangkok! Railway workers and doctor Metta (Adul Dulyarat) find her. She is about to deliver. A daughter is born. It is war time, so Bangkok is not a good place to stay. Doctor Metta proposes to send her. During two years, Duang Jai is looking for Krissada’s house in Bangkok. She finally finds it. Sukon tells her Krissada's story. Krissada has disappeared. Metta asks her to decide about her future but Duang Jai refuses to marry him per her promise to Krissada. Chadaporn Wachirapranee is playing a brothel owner. Duangjai is working there as she needs money to survive. Bombs destroy the brothel house and her friends are killed. A Japanese officer helps her. As she has nowhere to go, being a ผู้หญิงชัว, he proposes her to be his domestic helper and wife (เมีย). The war is going to be finished soon. The Japanese officer promises to keep sending money to her. He dies on the way to Japan. Duangjai needs to resume being a prostitute (โสเภณี). The house owner wishes to expel Duang Jai and Taew as they cannot pay the rent anymore. The Japanese officer helped the owner during war, but gratitude is useless according to the house owner! Duang Jai and Taew find gold hidden under the carpet. Many years passed. Taew (Yaowaret Nisakorn) and Duangjai have set up their own company. Duangjai has a new name, i.e. เศรษฐีโสเภณี. Taew recommends her to look for her lost daughter and to look for happiness. Duang Jai meets Krissada again as her car hits a passerby. He has become a beggar. His father had many debts. Krissada was part of Seri Thai (resistance to Japanese invaders) but had chosen the wrong boss so had to flee to Laos. Duangjai proposes to help. She doesn't dare to tell who she is. Thai newspapers start to give bad rumours about her previous status as prostitute (ปากเสีย). Nattaya, one of the employees, is a drug addict (ติดยา). Krissada proposes to help. Nattaya has difficulties to get rid of drugs. She succeeds to flee from Krissada's home. She is then kidnapped as ruffians want to get money from Duang Jai and Taew. Krissada helps. During fightings with ruffians, Phi Taew is shot and wishes Duang Jai to disclose the truth but Duang Jai still has concerns about her past (ชีวิตโสเภณีมีค่าเพราะว่าเงิน). Nattaya announces to Duangjai that she is going to marry with Krissada. Duangjai tries to break the relationship but Nattaya refuses. Finally, Duangjai asks to be with Krissada a few hours. She wears Northern clothes again. Krissada is not able to link Duang Jai and Aitit, Duang Jai new name. Duangjai leaves and gives a gift for the wedding. The gift is the ring given twenty years ago. Finally doctor Metta is able to explain that Nattaya is Duangjai's daughter and so Krissada's daughter so a wedding cannot happen. Now it is Krissada turn to look for Duang Jai...

While inspecting trees trunks in the forest, Et helps Lek (Aranya Namwong), whose horse gets carried away. Romance happens and they become lovers. Lek is the daughter of Kamnan (เชาว์) and Luechai’s sister. So Lek doesn’t want this love story to be public. Luechai wishes to kill Et. While Et is going to work by motorbike, he is chased by a car driven by Luechai and his ruffians. They shoot him and Et’s motorbike ends up in a pond. The remaining sequence ends here. It was the period where Kanchit Kwanpracha was one the new main actors pushed by the Thai movie industry in order to replace Mitr Chaibancha, who died accidentally in year 1970.

The masked vigilante crimefighter, called Red Eagle is back with Mitr Chaibancha playing the leading role. In this movie several influential people are mysteriously killed when they receive a red ceramic Buddha statue. They died of sudden fear. Somebody is also using Red Eagle identity to commit murders so the hero changes his mask to gold and becomes Golden Eagle. The mysterious organisation wishes to take over Thai government. Golden Eagle is investigating against this mysterious organisation in parallel of the Thai police. Trained in psychic powers by Rasputin, the head of the mysterious organisation kills by beaming his thoughts and visage through red ceramic Buddha statues. He can split himself into three images and can hypnotize remotely. He even put his heart out of his body into a vessel for protection. It is the first movie directed by Mitr Chaibancha. It is also the last movie in which Mitr Chaibancha played. Mitr died after falling from a rope ladder that was dangling from a helicopter. He was only 36 years old. Many Thai theaters paid respect to Mitr Chaibancha before showing "Golden Eagle" movie by placing a Pepsi bottle in front of a picture of the Thai actor. It was said that Mitr Chaibancha liked Pepsi. 40 copies were done for "Golden Eagle" movie as it was the last movie of Mitr Chaibancha. Normally only a few copies were done per movie.

Mitr is back to his house, where the spirit of Suthisa is still waiting for him. Love happens between a human and a spirit. It causes fear to all people around.

Ruffians capture a man fleeing with a suitcase. Two important letters inside have disappeared from the suitcase when he hit a group of three people while running away. Those people are a father (Surasit Sattayawong), his daughter Fimeuang (Pawana Chanajit) and their friend (Joomjim Khemlek). Those letters are related to their plan to bring troubles from overseas into South of Thailand (คนขายชาติ). Sak (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and inspector (สารวัตร) Cheut (Sombat Methanee) meet the 3 characters in Nakhon Sawan and sympathize. Ruffians try everything to get back those letters but Sak and Cheut support them. Cheut communicates with his Police Headquarters through young lady Nop (Yaowaret Nisakorn also called Petchara 2). Ramet (Kecha Plianvithee), undercover ruffians leader, tries to seduce Dao (Aranya Namwong) but she doesn't like him. Ramet is a good friend of Krit (Ruj Ronnapop), Dao's brother, as he can always borrow money to him for gambling (พนัน). Cheut also appreciates Dao. Fimeuang and her father take refuge in Chiang Mai. Finally Fimeuang understands that Cheut is a right and trusty man, so she gives him the envelopes. Fimeuang loves secretly Cheut and goes back to Surin. Cheut’s heart is divided between Dao, Fimeuang and Nop. Cheut is captured by the ruffians. Finally Sak helps him on time. Ramet is captured but finally later on free again so it looks like a part of the movie is missing. Willing to get back the letters, the ruffians capture Fimeuang and her friend Kamoon. The father shall give back the letters back to Ramet to save his daughter’s life. Policeman Cheut, Sak and Nop help to penetrate the ruffians’ camp. Dao and Chris also realize who is Ramet while visiting the camp and find that Fimeuang is held captured there. During final shootings, Fimeuang is unfortunately shot. Ruffians are defeated. Movie พยัคฆ์เหนือ เสืออิสาน ยมบาลใต้ is a mix of action and comedy. This small movie really features a great bunch of Thai actors and Thai actresses from decade 1960s.

Thai horror movie ตุ๊กแกผี was released in year 1969. A father (ประดิษฐ์ กัลย์จาฤก) is married with a woman (มารศรี ณ บางช้าง) and have three grownup children, one boy (Surayut- Chaiyayut Vetchayan) and two daughters including Sasithorn Phetrung. His wife is severely sick. So the husband tries to bring in the house a new younger minor wife (Yaowaret Nisakorn). The children disagree with the new minor wife but the father keeps protecting her. Arguments occur and the mother dies due to shock. Her spirit enters a gecko. The son of the minor wife, Phalalop (พัลลภ พรพิษณุ), likes Sasithorn Phetrung. The mother ghost threatens the new wife not to bother her children. Sukon Koewliam is used as a spirit doctor (หมอผี) but he is chased away by the gecko ghost. The ghost lady is having multiple dots on the face similar to a gecko. A famous scene is when the ghost is putting live small mouses in her mouth to eat them. Surayut- Chaiyayut kidnaps a young lady, daughter of the new wife. Her brother Phalalop releases her. Arguments and fightings happen Surayut-Chaiyayut and Phalalop. Phalalop falls from a high cliff and is left as dead. Romance happens between Surayut- Chaiyayut and the minor wife’s daughter. Phalalop isn't dead. A romance also happens between Sasithorn Phetrung and Phalalop. Thanks to a second spirit doctor, the second wife neutralises the ghost as a sacred cloth seals the coffin. Meanwhile Phalalop is having a new girlfriend to the high disappointment of Sasithorn Phetrung. Surayut- Chaiyayut finally finds the sacred cloth and removes it. To ruin the reputation of Sasithorn Phetrung, the minor wife hires a man to rape her and a photographer to take dirty pictures but the mother ghost kills the rapist first. A third spirit doctor gives an exorcist knife (มีดหมอ) to stab the body of the ghost mother on the 15th day of lunar calendar. The ghost wakes up on time and order the minor wife to stab herself. The father organizes ceremonies for both spirits to find peace. The two young couples can wed.

Thida (Petchara Chaowarat ) is the daughter of village headman Lao Song. Krai seems to play a double game. Maew Daeng guerilla embuscades Chat Chao Praya in the jungle. Kundong helps Chat Chao Praya but gets captured. Following shootings, Chat Chao Praya is injured but succeeds to escape. He is cured by Thida. During a village fair, the guerilla (มือปืน) shoots villagers. Chat Chao Praya gets rid of them and is brought to the attention of Thida's father, Lao Song. The left sequence ends here.

The baby has a scar around the ear. The father has a new wife (กันฑรีย์ นาคประภา), who is upset about losing heritage, and she prepares a plan with her lover Nipon (Man Teeraphol) to get rid of Kalong and her child. Mien (Malee Wetpraseri) hears their plan, takes the baby and flees. Shocked, Kalong has a brain attack. Tam, Mien’s husband, names the baby E- tan. E-tan (Aranya Namwong) is now a grown beautiful young lady. E-tan meets Rungroj (Mitr Chaibancha) being a lawyer responsible to expel people from a slum to build a new building. E-tan, Tam (Sompol Kongsuwan) and Mien have to leave. Mien goes back to her hometown to work and to send money. Being sick, she is cheated and no money reaches E-tan and Tam. So E-tan decides to quit school in order to work. She tries to find a job as domestic helper in a rich house. But she gets issues with the owner accusing her to have stolen her necklace. She is a fighting with the daughter called Supatra. E-tan meets Phaka (Chadaporn Wachirapranee). She is a mamasan but E-tan is not aware. Tam is the old boyfriend of the mamasan Phaka so he sells E-tan for 5000 baht. Thuam Thoranong, as a customer, is severely beaten with E-Tan. Mien is back and threatens to kill Tam if E-tan is not back within seven days. As the grandfather is getting old and sick but refusing to transfer his heritage to his younger new wife, Nipon has the idea to find a 19 years old girl to pretend being the lost granddaughter. He hires E-tan from Pakha without knowing that E-tan is the real granddaughter! She is recognised by the grandfather thanks to the scar. Rungroj is engaged with Supatra (Yaowaret Nisakorn) but he doesn't love her. He thinks about the young lady beggar but doesn't realise that she is the same lady as the new granddaughter. Supatra is jealous as Rungroj spends a lot of time with E-tan as the grandfather asks him to be a teacher for her. Aware that Nipon and the mother plan to kill them once heritage has been transferred to her, E-Tan prepares a plan with her friends from the slum. A social event is organized to present E-Tan to Thai society as the official lost daughter. Nipon prepares poison for the grandfather. Mien is wishing to announce the bad plans of the new wife and Nipon but she is is killed before by Nipon. Upset by Mien’s death, E-Tan shots him with a gun without knowing that he is already dead having drunk the poison by mistake. E-Tan is accused of murder by the new wife and is sent to jail. Rungroj is the lawyer for E-tan. Tam, recognizing that E-Tan has always been good with him, relates the real story to the judge and E-Tan is spared from prison. She then can marry with Rungroj.

The mother rejects the request of Nawin to break the engagement. Khangpu believes Nawin has another wife in Bangkok. Khangpu is pregnant 3 months already. Months pass and Nawin is not back. Khangpu delivers a small boy. Wedding ceremony with Orapin is happening and many guests are joining the party. 3 years have passed and Khangpu is crying every day. The grandmother suggests they go to Bangkok to find Nawin. They find him and Nawin explains he was forced by his mother to marry Orapin. Movie Operation Bangkok / เพชรตัดเพชร was released in year 1966 and lasts 1h50mn. It is a HK Thai co production managed by three film directors including Wichit Khunawut. Mitr Chaibancha meets Yot (Luechai Natnat). An exchange of suitcases happens over a bridge. Adinan Singhiran is Yot’s acolyte. Yot betrays Mitr and tries to keep the two suitcases. Shooting happens and Yot flees. Choomporn Theppitak is part of a gang led by Kecha Plianvithee. Yot belongs to the same gang also. Luechai arrives in Hong Kong. He meets Adul Dulyarat on a boat to exchange drugs against money. The drug is fake and he steals the money by punching Adul. He flees to Bangkok and escapes to Choomporn, who tries to shoot him with a long range rifle. Yot has betrayed (ทรยศ) Kecha. Yot meets singer Pai Lu (Hong Kong actress Regina Pai Ping) in the plane and sympathizes. Mitr disguises himself as Chat, a tough ruffian, to infiltrate Kecha’s gang. Chadaporn Wachirapranee is Chat’s old wife so he punches Sompol Kongsuwan to show he is back. Chao Klaewklong introduces Chat to Kecha. Kecha is looking for a new right-hand man (แขนขวาคนใหม่) as Yot betrayed him. Kecha wishes Chat to get rid of Yot. Ratsamee (Petchara Chaowarat) loves Yot but Yot also loves Pai Lu, who is in fact an undercover policewoman from Hong Kong. Ratsamee warns Yot that Adul is around looking for him. Pai Lu and Ratsamee escape from Adul but get arrested by policeman Lor Tok, who ignore they are from Interpol Police (ตำรวจสากล). A painting called เพชรตัดเพชร is purchased by Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit bidding against Kecha. Miss Boran (Kaenjai Meenakanit) is the sexy painter. Adul wishes to buy the jewel hidden in the painting but this one is now always worn by Miss Boran. The jewel contains a password (รหัด). Choomporn kills Miss Boran to get the jewel but Yot and his team steal it from him also. Pai Lu is surnamed HK 16. Mitr is surnamed BKK 38 (ตำรวจไทยเจ้าชู้อย่างนี้ทุกคนหรือค่ะ?). Mitr helps Pai Lu chased by two ruffians including Choomporn. Chat brings Pai Lu himself to Kecha. Understanding that she is an enemy (ศัตรู), she is condemned to be shot by Choomporn but Chat succeeds to charge the gun with blank bullets. Yot falls in a trap prepared by Adul to steal the diamond but it fails and Adul dies. Yot wishes to make peace with Kecha. Kecha wants only one right-arm man so both Chat and Yot have to fight against each other. Pai Lu and Petchara ask them to stop fighting. They are all captured by Kecha. Part of the movie is then lost here. Wilaiwan shots Ratsamee. Hopefully Pai Lu shots Wilaiwan and can help Ratsamee on time. Thai police attack the ruffians. All are killed or captured but Kecha succeeds to flee. Kecha refuses to surrender to the Thai police and prefers to explode his boat. The movie ends up on a sad note as Pai Lu has to leave Chat to go back back to Hong Kong, Ratsamee is separated from Yot as he has to go to jail. This movie is still available in Hong Kong under title 諜海蛟龍 and was shown on cable TV. The famous song of this movie is ดวงใจ by singer สวลี ผกาพันธุ์. This movie is one of the best confrontations between Thai superstars Mitr Chaibancha and Luechai Natnat. As it is a HK Thai co production, it is interesting to find that the Chinese version poster features Chinese actress Regina Pai Ping’s head in big size. Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat are displayed in small size. But the Thai poster displays more prominently Mitr Chaibancha and Petchara Chaowarat. In the Chinese synopsis, Mitr Chaibancha is written as mi-tsai- wan-chai (Thai detective No 78) and called as Ah Tsai in the movie. Regina Pai Ping (Hong Kong agent No 113) is called as Pai Lu in the movie. Petchara Chaowarat is written as Pi-chai-la and called as Sha Mei in the movie. The movie was so famous that it was released once in year 1966 and then reshown again in year 1975. The original version lasts 2h20mn but the 1975 version was reduced to less than 2 hours as both movies เพชรตัดเพชร and คนเหนือคน were shown together. The DVD released by company Pantamit is based on the 1975 version. It took five years for company Pantamit to convince the film owner to lend it in order to make a digital copy. Another film copy remains in the Thai Film archives.

The tragic romance 鱷魚河 - "Crocodile River" is a Shaw Brothers movie filmed in Thailand. The two students love each other from across a river that is filled with crocodiles. Families are living on opposite sides of the river. Hidden secrets between both families cause fights to happen. Yodi’s parents try to push him to another girl but he is not interested. The girl tries to get his interest by using her sexy shapes but it is enough. Yodi swims across the river to be reunited with Lee Ting. Following a fight between Yodi and Lee Ting's brother (Man Teeraphol), Lee Ting cannot leave the house and her father removes all her clothes to ensure she doesn't going out naked. The girl's father uses saboteurs on his neighbors' property and they put fire in a barn. Finally Lee Tin flees from her house and swims across the river. Yodi helps her as crocodiles are converging towards her. But it is too late for both of them. Their death makes the two clans to pacify. Lee Tin’s brother seems to be Yodi's father hidden son. Aunt Saichai is upset that Sun misses Poradok. Aunt Saichai is entering final cancer phase. Her testament mentions that Sopha and Sun have to marry if they want to get any parts of the heritage. Aunt Saichai recognizes that there was nothing between her and Sun (คนกตัญญู). Sun and Saisamon have to choose between love or money. A party happens at Poradok's parents house. Krissada sings a song. At and his aunt lose face as Krissada sings about bad men unable to respect their engagement. At follows Krissada to her home and hits her. Luckily Poradok was also following behind and punches At. Sun and Saisamon agree to reject the heritage. Sun considers Saisamon as her sister. Saisamon keeps drinking as Sun doesn't love her but loves Poradok. The movie ends happily. At changes religion and marries again with Krissada. Saisamon has a love story with Prachuap. Poradok and Sun finds that the mother's lawyer was stealing money with aunt Sarinthip. Both are chased from the home. Poradok reconciles with her mother Pim. Romance Sun and Poradok can happen.

In public life Insee Daeng is Rom (Mitr Chaibancha), a journalist a bit coward and often drunk so that nobody could think both men are the same! Wassana (Petchara Chaowarat) is his journalist girlfriend. Chat is captured by an evil organisation (กลุ่ม Bodam) who tries to bribe him (พวกขายชาติ) but he refuses so gets imprisoned. The main police inspector and Song try to release Chat. Meuan gives the code to enter the house to them through coercion. They get captured also and meet Chomchai (Preeya Roongrueng) imprisoned by Phi Decha. Hopefully Insee Daeng helps them on time. Wassana gives support to Chomchai. Suthee (Yaowaret Nisakorn) is Tamrong’s sister. Tamrong fails to catch Insee Daeng. Meuan gets killed by one hitman from the organisation. As the hitman is caught by police inspector, the organisation also shots him to avoid he reveals any information to the police. Veteran comic actor Sithao Petcharoen as a photographer succeeds to take a picture of Insee Daeng without his mask (ชมหน้าอินทรีย์แดง). Insee Daeng fails to take back the film. Rom tries to get it back from the newspapers but Decha steals it first. Chomchai is captured back by Bodam organisation. Rom fails to get the film back from Decha as he is lying mentioning he is part of Bodam. Bodam now thinks Rom could be Insee Daeng as he is putting so much efforts to get back the film. Insee Daeng finally escapes from the ruffians and Daeng meets miss TinYong (Wanna SaengChanThip) from Hong Kong. She tries to persuade him to join Bodam organisation. Finally Insee Daeng steals the film back from Tamrong following a fist fighting. Tamrong suspects Rom could be Insee Daeng as he has many bruises supposed to be due to a fall in the stairs. Rom simulates a love story with TinYong to enter in Bodam organisation's hidden place. Police is warned also. Wassana frees TinYong seen as traitor, Suthee and Chomchai attached to a pile of dynamite. Once again, Insee Daeng helps Tamrong stuck in difficult situations.
