A couple is having an issue as the husband is losing a lot of money by gambling in Boo's place. The grandma and grandma are worried about their grandchild. The gambler even sells his kid on a bet. Master (อาจารย์) Lor Tok arrives in the village. He is a fake master. The baby spirit warns him to behave properly and uses him to defeat Boo, who is abusing the local community. First many villagers win money through a lottery organised by Boo. Boo then challenges Lor Tok to organise a lion dance contest to win back his money. Boo loses again a lot of money. Money is used to improve the local school facilities. The teacher and Pim (ผุสรัตน์ ดารา), Boo's daughter, get on well. Boo is upset with this relationship. Boo and his new wife believe Pim is betraying them. The teacher is beaten and captured while visiting Pim in her room. They finally succeed to escape. Boo hire hitmen (including Doo Dook Kradon) to get rid of master Lor Tok. They fail. Tok suggests a master from Malaysia. The master is resurrecting a vampire (ผีดิบ). The baby spirit and its skeleton associate defeat the vampire also. Villagers can enjoy a peaceful life without gambling. This comedy includes many comic actors from decade 1980s.

Thai movie มือปืนนมสด was released in year 1978. It lasts 2h. It features Sombat Methanee as main actor and Aranya Namwong as main actress. The movie was released in Thailand under VCD format and a four minutes trailer also remains to be seen. This movie is a mix of action and comedy. A gathering of scout (ลูกป้า) is happening. A rampage, led by Yai (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) and Phan (Dam Datsakorn), happens as all participants are killed except Suriya Chinaphan. The village leader (ผู้ใหญ่) is shot by Phan. Den (Sombat Methanee) and Aranya Namwong, daughter of the village leader, arrive at same time in the village Don Krating (ดอนกระทิง). Den orders fresh milk and has issues with ruffians led by Phan. Den is singing Likay and is strong at shooting and fighting. Plio (Sayan Chantaraviboon), Jirasak Pinsuwan (จีรศักดิ์ ปิ่นสุวรรณ) and Suriya Chinaphan trap Yai but fail to kill him. Den asks to talk to Kamnan Tat Ekathat in private. Aranya decides to take over his father's activities. Her younger brother Suriya also joins her. One evening at a restaurant Den and Suriya help each other to punch the ruffians so they sympathize together. Ruffians decide to step in as Aranya wishes to federate peasants against Yai. They fail to kill Sawin Sawangrat but Den is captured and tortured. อาจารย์ Sawin and a small kid called Khom help Den. Srinuan, daughter of Yai, always discusses with Plio and shares information with him. Kamnan Tat Ekathat is killed by Yai and his daughter Dok Kaew kidnapped. Yai wishes to abuse her (ใช้กรรม) but hopefully Dok Kaew is released by Suriya. Fake policemen arrest Den, Suriya and Dok Kaew. Den is attached to a moving car by ruffians. Hopefully Aranya and Jirasak can help before it is too late. Srinuan tries to convince her father to stop but to no avail (ไม่ต้องมาสั่งสอน). Phan is having an affair with ChotChoi, Yai's wife. Phan kills those, who discovered him with ChotChoi. Sawin is called as undertaker (สัปเหร่อไม่มีวัด) by ruffians! Two ruffians leaders are opposed to each other (เสือเฒ่าพบสิงห์หนุ่ม) as Yai faces Phan (เพื่อนทรยศ). Den then faces Yai in a final duel but Aranya is the one to shoot him deadly.

Thai comedy movie มันส์เขาล่ะ was released in year 1978. The movie is lost in Thailand but a sequence of 1h03mn is left to be seen. Subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Lor Tok wishes to produce a movie with his daughters and his wife playing as actresses. His wife is played by Chosri Misommon. His daughters include Wassana (Naiyana Shewanan) and Nipaporn Nongnuch. Tawan Siriwat seems to oppose the Subdistrict headman's decision. A photo studio is managed by Prachuap Ruekyamdee and his two friends, i.e. Sayan Chantaraviboon and Rong Kaomulkadee. Prachuap and his friends convince Lor Tok to manage the movie for him. They are now looking for a main actor (พระเอก) for their movie but Fui (Sombat Methanee) is finally hired by mistake. Fui’s close friend is Thep Thienchai. Lor Tok is the movie producer so they use the money to buy a mercedes! He wishes his family to play in the movie. Somphob Benjatikul is his assistant. Fui and Wassana like each other. Boo Wibunnan is hired as movie director. They are also looking for somebody to write the story. Tawan brings them to meet Mui (Kanchit Kwanpracha) as they are looking for a ruffian (นักเลง). A ceremony for the movie launch (เลี้ยงใหญ่โต๊ะ) is organized. Fui has to sing and does it well (it is Sombat Methanee’s real voice). Thuam Thoranong as comic actor is also present. Sahat Piempongsan is used as decorator. Lor Tok always needs to protect his daughters against the young men trying to seduce them. Multiple gags happen during the shooting as Lor Tok doesn’t accept any kiss to his daughters. Phairoj Jaising is involved as actor also and a few ดาวยั่ว are joining (Tharika Thidathip). The movie shooting is a disaster. Kamnan Lor Tok is back to his village and is welcomed by Tawan Siriwat and Suriya Chinaphan singing an ironic son and teasing the Subdistrict headman. This comedy is featuring many famous comic actors from 1970s and more than 18 Thai famous actors / actresses.

As a cover job, Ek is selling goods and is having arguments with Dokdin Kanyaman, another seller. Noon (Mayura Thanabutr), daughter of a local headteacher (พงษ์ลดา พิมลพรรณ), is visiting her mother in Nakhon Phanom. Her mother is taking care of poor children. Her father is Prachuap Ruekyamdee. Relation is tense with her father as he has a new wife (เมียน้อย) called Pantip. Ruffians storm the police station. Ek and Dokdin neutralize them. Suriya Chinaphan, Ek’s teammate, meets young lady Moon there. Wan Dao and Yoti (Kanchit Kwanpracha) have business conflicts with Cheung (Lak Apichat) but they finally collaborate. Cheung and Wan Dao become lovers. Cheung's team is attacked by police led by Ek while transporting illegal goods in the jungle. Ek is injured but Dokdin is helping him to hide. Ruffians are looking for Ek to get revenge. Dokdin brings Ek to hospital and they finally flee. Ek needs to marry within three months to receive the heritage (มรดก) per the testament. Ek wishes to marry Noon but his lawyer (Choomporn Theppitak) wishes him to marry his engaged fiancée. Ek refuses as he hasn't realized that his engaged fiancée and Noon are the same person. Dokdin used a similar scenario in movie ไก่นา (1971). Yoti has arguments with Ek. Pantip is also Yoti's mistress. Ruffians storm again the school. Ladies resist. Moon hits Cheung badly and it makes him crazy. Ruffians burn the school buildings and Moon is raped by Cheung. The head teacher (แม่ครู) is kidnapped. Prachuap is aware that Pantip betrays him (ควายแก่) as policemen saw her kissing Yoti. They shot each other. Ek and his teammates storm the camp. Fierce fightings do happen. Noon takes revenge over Cheung and gets reunited with Suriya. Dokdin marries a teacher also.

Yuak (Dokdin Kanyaman) is involved in a shooting with police. He is part of a drug gang selling cannabis (กัญชา) hidden in garlands sold by kids. Yuak is finally arrested and spends 6 years in jail. His release happens just during Songkran period. His relative has taken care of his now grown-up niece, Klong (Mayura Thanabutr) (เด็กสลัม). Local policeman warns Yuak (หม้าว้ด) to beware of any misconduct if he doesn't want to go to jail again. Klong's mother Kae Son has left and stopped sending money to her. The mother went to live with a ruffian called Rot (Choomporn Theppitak). He is a violent man stealing Klong's school fee. Rot is now involved in cannabis traffic also and has a new wife. While Yuak, Klong and Songthai (Suriya Chinaphan) are playing music, police arrests some drug traffickers nearby. Afraid of police, Yuak flees in front of inspector Pheung's (Sombat Methanee) despite being innocent. They are arrested and then released but Pheung gets scolded by Klong. Prachuap (Prachuap Ruekyamdee) is a doctor fighting drug usage. He is the father of one of Klong's best friend, Phanit. Pheung is Phanit's brother. Pheung's girlfriend, Chat, dislikes immediately Klong as she is having a famous family name (สกุล) which is improbable as being a poor girl from slum (สลัม). Klong and Yai have issues with Rot and it ends up at the police station but Rot flees before as he is involved in narcotics. Yai is severely sick. Klong has no money to cure her so one of her friends in the slum sacrifices herself with men to find the money. Following an advice from Yuak, it is discovered that Chaiyut (Lak Apichat), Chat’s secret lover, is involved in drug trafficking with Rot. Following gunfight with Pheung, Rot is shot. Chatchai, Phanit's boyfriend, is also involved in the traffic. Songthai helps Phanit to flee from Chatchai. Phanit and her friends are addicted so a detoxification is needed with special herbs tea by Yuak. Prachuap hits Songthai believing he mistreated his daughter. It is a weird situation as despite having a father fighting against drug usage, a policeman brother fighting against traffickers, Phanit is still a drug addict. Prachuap finds that Klong is the lost granddaughter (หลาน) of a rich heiress. Romance starts between Klong and Pheung. The old lady caused Klong's parents to split up as she couldn't accept a poor maiden for her son. So knowing this, Klong leaves her being very angry. Pheung understands Klong’s kindness versus Chat’s selfishness. Meanwhile Chat organises the kidnapping of the old lady. Klong and Pheung help on different side to neutralize Chaiyut and his team. The old lady is freed. Ruffians are shot by Pheung. Happiness can resume in the family. Dokdin's movie แม่ดอกกัญชา is a high criticism of usage of cannabis in Thai society, either in poor neighborhood or either high society. Cannabis sinners are shown on a torn tree (Buddhist symbolism). Dokdin’s movie highlights drug traffic, prostitution and drug taking in slums. As usual, Dokdin movie mixes comedy, romance and action.

Ket (Krung Srivilai) promises to his dying boss to go to Khao Kiaw to find the children he never had time to care of. Viwe (Songthong), an independant ruffian is wandering around Khao Kiaw. Kraison and his sister Mon are besieged in a restaurant by ruffians. Viwe agrees to help them but is asking for money as reward. Ket, having his lunch, helps them by shooting the ruffians. They all flee. Later in the village, Ket helps a young lady called Kaem (น้องสาวคนสวย) (จะไม่มีวาสนาเห็นขาอ่อนของฉัน) harassed by a few ruffians (Somsak Chaisongkram). Ket is looking for uncle Pran. Ket learns from Kaem that uncle Pran was shot a few months ago. Kaem brings Ket to meet Pran's children, i.e. Plaew (Naowarat Yooktanun) and Prai (Suriya Chinaphan). Kaem is Prai's girlfriend. Pracha (Kecha Plianvithee) is the ruffians leader. They all refuse to sell their land to Pracha. Pracha wants to know who is the man who resists to his ruffians. Plaew hires Ket to protect her fields (ไร่). Many beautiful “luk thung” (ลูกทุ่ง) are performed by Krung and Naowarat. Plaew bewares of Ket as he insolent (ทะลึ่ง). Pracha hires Viwe to kill Kraison. The ruffians take revenge over Ket by torturing him but this time Kraison helps to release him. Kaem loves Ket but Ket sees her as a young sister only (ที่ใครที่มัน). Prai is framed by Pracha's mistress and has to kill one of the ruffians to be able to flee away. Viwe asks for additional bonus to Kraison to avoid killing him. It ends up in a fight. Ket, Plaew and Prai threatens Pracha to stop harassing them for a last time but Pracha is preparing his revenge. While a Buddhist ceremony (ผ้าป่า) happens in the village, Plaew is kidnapped. Ket follows Pracha's ruffians in order to release her. Gun fights happen. Pracha and his ruffians are killed. Viwe, always helping people for money, is also shot dead. The movie end is a bit weird as it is discovered that Kraison killed many years ago Ket's brother so he has to revenge his dead brother. Ket is arrested by the police following his bad acts. Plaew promises to wait for him. Thai movie นักเลงสามสลึง (1976) or “the three ruffians” features many famous Thai actors from 1970s decade. Krung Srivilai was then at his zenith. A James Bond soundtrack is used. It lasts 1h50mn. The VCD has one audio track with Thai and one audio track with Lao. This movie is a mix of romance, action and features many songs.

Tawan denies and he is just worried about Euay. Euay is having an affair with Sahat Piempongsan. She has a fight with him and gets beaten. Juree Osiri is playing Euay’s mother and Chao Klaewklong is playing Euay’s father. Euay decides to marry a US soldier as he won't known her past. Euay is in mood after reading an erotic magazine. Thai movies between 1973 and 1976 enjoyed a high freedom and featured themes (lust, pleasure...) that were never seen before in Thai movies.

Thai movie Khao Nok Na (ข้าวนอกนา) was released in year 1975 and directed by Piak Poster. It lasts 1h38mn. An aunt (Sulaleewan Suwanthat) is raising two children, the elder called Deuan is 5 years old and the youngest is called Dam (หีดำ). Both fathers are different. Dam's father is a black man so she is called Dam (ดำ – black) as a reference to her skin color. The children were temporarily given to the aunt by the mother. Unable to raise them, the aunt wishes to sell them to a rich lady. The rich lady (Marasri Bangchang) doesn't want Dam (ไม่ชอบเด็กดำๆ) and buys only Deuan for 3000 baht. She is renamed as Deuan Krai Saen (บุบผารัตน์ ญาณประสิทธิกุล). Father is veteran actor Adul Dulyarat. Finally Dam (ช่อเพชร ชัยเนตร) is sold to a family to become a helper (คนใช้งาน) and to be the puppet of the daughter. Veteran actress Khomapat Attaya is part of the other helpers. Dam is always stubborn (ดือ) as people dislike her skin color. Phi Pan (Suriya Chinaphan) is the son of a taxi driver, who always supported Dam but died earlier in a car accident. The house is becoming a mess with the daughter being pregnant with one male driver and the son spending like crazy on music instruments to build a band. The real mother is back and is asking for her two daughters. The aunt gives the address but the rich lady (คุณผู้หญิง) refuses to let Deuan go. The real mother, always seen smoking, goes to the police to get her rights respected. She finds first Dam. Adul refuses to give back Deuan and proposes 50 000 baht. She accepts and has to sign a contract. Having the money, she also rejects Dam and asks her to go back to her home. Disappointed by her own mother, Dam is looking for a job. She becomes a singer in a nightclub and sings her difficulties as being black in Thailand. Meanwhile the rich family watches Deuan playing in a ballet representation. Dam finds Phi Pan in the street and brings him to her home. They become lover as Dam believes he would be a caring man like his father but Pan is a lazy boy taking profit of girls' money. Pan is using Dam's money to entertain another lady. Adul finds that Deuan goes back home late and is wearing a ring given by a young boy Pop (เลือดแม่ของแค่มันแรง) (Uten Boonyong). Dam is finally dumped by Pan so indulges in alcohol and becomes a short time prostitute. She is surnamed as ลิง (monkey) or สกปรก (dirty) and being rejected by Thai society (equally by rich and poor Thai people). Dam meets people having problems also and starts indulging in drugs to forget daily problems. Pop tries to bring Deuan to a short time motel but finally changes his mind as she keeps crying and mentioning her father's pressure. Dam meets finally Deuan. Deuan is in paradise (สวรรค์) and Dam is in hell (นรก). Finally Deuan ends up with Dam indulging drugs as her paradise is also a hell being the daughter of an easy lady. Police captures the whole group. Deuan's parents bail her, forgive her mistakes and accept her relationship with Pop. A US black man bails Dam from jail and brings her to USA with him. The movie highlights racism in Thailand. Following Vietnam war, many similar cases of children born from Thai prostitutes and black US soldiers did happen in Thailand. A TV serie on the same story was released in year 2013. Khao Nok Na (ข้าวนอกนา) is an interesting title. Normally rice is white so Dam is the rice “outside” the field, i.e. being black and different from the majority of Thai people. The movie got 4 awards (รางวัลตุ๊กตาทอง), i.e. best actress, best song, best story, best supportive role.

Kalan announces to her that he is her future boss as Hotel manager! Chosri Misommon is Pan's aunt. She always asks for money as she keeps gambling. Pan's mother had a lover as her husband didn't take care of her and her daughter. Upset, the husband wished to bring her to her lover for clarification but a car accident happened on the way and both died. So Pan stayed with her aunt. Sek (Suriya Chinaphan) loves Pan and always does courtship her as a gentleman. Kalan's mother is played by Somjit Sapsamruey. Somjit introduced Da (Runglawan Sripatimakul) to Kalan and wishes for a wedding. The mother believes Pan cannot be trust as cashier as her aunt Chosri is a big spender (การพนัน). Aunt Chosri ends up in jail. While nobody wants to be the guarantor, Kalan offers the money to bail her out. Pan is promoted to manager assistant (ผู้ช่วยผู้จัดการ). Karun (Sayan Chantaraviboon), the second son, is back from overseas but he has heart disease. He likes Pan also. An American tourist is always trying to seduce her also. So four men have hopes on her. Finally she marries Karun. The aunt gets a big amount of money (ใช้หนี้). She knows she doesn't love him. Karun is unable to perform husband duties per a congenital disease. Kalan was former lover of Pan's mother but Kalan confirms it was a platonic love. Smoking scenes and love scenes are blurred. Pushed back by Kalan, Da goes with Lak Apichat to Hua Hin. They become lovers. Karun, being over jealous on Pan, ends up at hospital. Kalan decides to marry with Da to avoid any more jealousy crisis. Unfortunately fightings happen at Kalan's wedding as Karun sees Pan talking to Sek. Pan flees. Kalan announces to Da that he cannot love her as he knows she is pregnant with somebody else (Lak). Kalan finally finds back Pan. Meanwhile Karun is getting crazy and even shoots two people at night believing it was Kalan and Pan. Being a bad girl, Da quits Kalan. Finally Kalan and Pan can have happiness. This is a romantic drama from 1970s with much more realistic story compared to 1960s decade movies.
