Father Nio (Somkuan Krajangsat) is married to Yui (Pissamai Wilaisak). They have two children, i.e. a daughter called Nuan (Orasa Isarangkul) and a boy called Neun (ไกรสร แสงอนันต์). Nio is very avaricious and complains that his wife is doing temple donations too often (ทำบุญ). Another family has lady See (Metta Roongrat) as family leader. She has two children i.e. Oi (Lak Apichat) and Pae (Apaporn Kornthip). Neun is going to temple fair with Pae. See wishes her daughter Pae to marry Boo (Boo Wibunnan), a rich but old bachelor. The two families are always in conflict so a wedding between Neun and Pae is a challenge to happen. Sor Asanajinda and Malee Wetpraseri visit relatives with their daughter Kaet (Anchalee Chaisiri). Kaet (นางฟ้า) shall stay in countryside a few months as she is pregnant... Pae is also pregnant with Neun. Father Nio refuses to pay the dowry (สินสอด). See asks for 10,000 THB. Nio only offers 1 baht! Finally, Yui steals 5,000 THB from her husband. Oi steals 5,000 THB from his mother See. So, wedding can happen. But due to Nio and See conflicting, it fails and both Neun and Pae are chased away from their families as they stole money from their parents. Thanks to a recommendation, Neun finds a job by working for Pipop Pupinyo. Kaet goes back for Bangkok and leaves the child behind. As there is a need for money to pay for house windows, Neun asks Pipop for money advance. His wife agrees but she asks for endearment from Neun. Pipop comes back home and fighting occurs with Neun. The wife tries to interpose and gets stabbed by accident. Pipop accuses Neun of having murdered his wife. Neun must flee. Pae and Neun's child is born. Krai (Krai Kanchit) and Pipop commit burglary and murders under the name of Neun. See, Pae's mother, is indebted by playing cards. See and Oi arrange a wedding with Boo. They lie that Neun has a new wife to convince Pae. It makes Neun upset. Wittaya Sukdamrong recommends him to calm down. Neun needs to flee police called by Oi. Neun takes refuge in Bangkok in Kaet's family as a car driver. Kaet's husband, Anoon (อนันต์ สัมมาทรัพย์), has another wife so Kaet is heartbroken and Sor recommends her to build a new life (ตั้งต้นไม้). Oi sympathises with Kaet's husband being a teacher. หมอเสน่ห์ is hired by Pae's family so Boo fires them. A romance between Kaet and Neun happens. Grandma Malee doesn't accept it. Nio is killed by Krai following an external affair. Yui's house is burgled. Neun arrives too late but hopefully Nio's money was well hidden. Neun meets Pipop and Krai fleeing after the robbery. They finally shoot each other unable to share the money. Yui, Neun's mother, sends a parade to ask for Kaet's hand. Neun gives 100,000 THB as promised for Kaet's hand and builds a big house on the land given by Sor. During a drinking session, Anoon discloses to Oi, that Neun is a stupid countryside man as he is marrying Kaet while both of her children are from himself! Despite having university diploma, Anoon behaves badly and the diploma has no value (กระดาษชำระ) as it didn't teach him to behave correctly in life. Informed by Oi, Neun keeps drinking and meets Pae, working in a club as partner. Pae ended up as Prostitute (กะหรี่) and lost her childcare. Anoon even receives 100,000 THB from Sor to keep quiet. Anoon gets beaten by Neun but is only worried about the money. Upset that Kaet lied to him (หลอกลวงเขา), Neun burns the new house (ไฟไหม้เรือนหอ) and surrenders to the Thai Police. Before being arrested, Neun asks Kaet to give money to Pae every month so that she can stop working and take care about their child. This movie highlights poor people versus rich people. Poor people have better heart than rich people.

A theater (โรงละคร) employing veteran actors is closing. One of the main actress, Valla, finds herself out of job. Uncle Pongpat (Sor Asanajinda), one of his fan, asks Walla (วัลลา) for wedding. Valla (Pissamai Wilaisak) has already two young children, i.e. Viraya (วีรยา) (Jarunee Sooksawad) and Chat. Pongpat has also two young children already, i.e. Tor (Sorapong Chatree) and Athon (อาทร). Valla was an actress (เล่นลาคร) so Athon always underestimated Viraya and Chat. They never got along. Children have now grown up. Athon has studied overseas and developed a passion for painting. Back to Thailand, he meets a young lady and loves her immediately. He is not aware that she is Viraya! He keeps chasing her. In fact Athon and Tor love the same woman, Viraya. Ton has its own gallery and insists to make a painting (เขียนภาพ) of Viraya. Tor is not aware who Athon is now painting. Busamalee (บุษมาลี) (Thitima Sangkapitak) is another lady fond of Athon also. Athon now believes Tor and Viraya are already sweethearts (คู่รัก) so he wishes to go back studying abroad as soon as possible. Busamalee is disappointed when realizing Athon doesn't love her. Ton is now aware that Viraya is Valla's daughter. Athon has often craziness crisis. So Athon is violent with Viraya believing she lied to him on purpose. He rapes her in his painting gallery. Busamalee also goes to study abroad. Viraya tries to get suicide. Tor suspects a man behind but Viraya refuses to tell who by refusing to disclose what is deep buried in her heart (กำแพงหัวใจ). To avoid any further suicide tentatives, Tor decides to marry Viraya as soon as possible. Tor discovers Viraya's portrait in Athon's room so now understands the truth. Pongpat has a heart attack when learning this and dies. Athon becomes the new house owner. Viraya delivers a boy but the child dies during the delivery. Tor asks Viraya to forget the past but she cannot. Athon is back from overseas with Busumalee. They are engaged. The painting gets an award so Busumalee knows something has happened between Athon and Viraya. She is upset and spent the night out. She spends the night with Chat, Viraya's brother, who revenges her sister by sleeping with Athon’s fiancee. Viraya and Athon finally meet. Athon tries to abuse Viraya again, claiming he always loved her, but she fights back successfully. She can now really forget Athon and enjoy happiness with Tor. Bua is upset with Leu as he is poor and lost his mother's heritage by gambling. Oon tries to reignite his love (ย้อนรัก) with Pheuan, who is now considering fleeing from Leu. Pheuan has pity on Leu (ข้าวเปล่าอร่อยดี) and her son so she keeps crying. While Leu is busy repairing the roof, Oon forces her to come as she is still undecided until the last minute. Wedding is happening soon. Oon is worried that Leu will bring a mess and wants to avoid a bloody celebration (ฉลองกับเลือด). Likay is organized. Leu brings his son to Phan and promises to get revenge up to Bangkok as he suffered a lot. Meanwhile Leu hears about the forthcoming wedding. He finally escapes with Pheuan but ruffians are chasing them. He gets injured through a fight versus too many opponents. Talui diverts their attention thanks to firecrackers and helps him to flee. Oon prevents the village headman to use a gun to shoot Leu. The village headman is upset having his men injured so they are looking after Leu. Talui helps Leu same as a father towards a son. Phan takes care of Leu and his son while Leu is sick. Leu understands Phan would have been a better wife than Pheuan. Meanwhile Talui prepares some tricks against the ruffians. The movie ends tragically. Loi, Pheuan and Phan’s brother, and Talui die while protecting Leu’s house. Even their mother die also. Oon, recognizing his mistake, accepts to give back Pheuan but Leu refuses. He realises too late that Talui is his real father. Having nothing left, he finally quits the area with Phan.

แผ่นดินของเรา is the movie introducing famous Thai actress, Naowarat Yooktanun, for the first time. Sor Asanajinda, Thai national artist, is the movie director and also actor. A father comes to rest in a house close to sea with his three grown up daughters, Yai (อัจฉรา) the elder, Eung and Pak (ภัคคินี), the youngest. Tamlong (ธำรง), is the one who has transformed this hostile land into an oasis due to his hard work. Pak is the youngest daughter and always dares doing things. All the three girls are impressed by Tamlong's strong personality. During a boar chase, Tamlong saves Pak's life but is injured at the leg. During his recovery at Pak's parents home, Pak and Tamlong declare their love to each other. Tamlong is twice older than Pak (ผู้ชายแก่ๆ). Wedding takes place. Pak marries before her elder sister Yai so Yai is quite upset as according to Thai traditions, she should have married first. Yai is still waiting for her fiance Narin (นเรนท์) to go come back from his studies in France. Pak and Tamlong settle on their new land (แผ่นดินของเรา). Finally Narin and Pak meet. Both of them are hot temper (คนผีทะเล). Yai is too old style (โบราณ), too traditional for Narin. He is fond of Pak. He gets fun of Pak having married an older man. While wandering in their domain, Pak is bitten by a snake but Narin helps her on time. Love feelings start between both of them. Narin becomes jealous of Tamlong and considers stopping his engagement with Yai. Finally Yai accepts Narin advances knowing he is hot temper. Being forced by his parents, Narin shall finally marry Yai next month but it is not a love wedding. Yai is too reserved for Narin. Narin is modern as he studied abroad so he doesn't like Thai traditional stuff anymore and wants external signs of love similar to western behavior. Finally Narin and Pak start an affair as Pak is convinced by Narin's true love. But Pak doesn't dare to leave Tamlong for Narin and is worried to hurt her sister Yai. Tamlong knows something has changed. Pak is challenged by Narin about her real feelings. On the wedding day, Pak and Narin disappear and send a letter to Yai and Tamlong to explain their decision. While fleeing on a boat, Narin and Pak are robbed by ruffians so they run out of money already. Pak discovers harsh life with Narin as he is not a good lawyer and being addicted to alcohol also. They live in a slum. Pak needs to become a street vendor (แม่ค้า). Yai is pregnant with Narin so she feels ashamed. Yai takes refuge in Tamlong's home to hide her pregnancy to her parents. Pak discovers that Narin has a mistress. A night he is out, a fire burns the slum. They lose everything. As Narin is sick, Pak needs to prostitute herself. Tamlong finally finds Pak and asks her to come back to their land. Pak cannot leave Narin as he is sick (ไข้ป่า) and she still loves him. She values Tamlong’s kindness (ความดี, น้ำใจ), who forgives her and gives her money. Narin is sent to jail following a robbery. He refuses to see her again trying to push her to get a new life. Pak finally goes back to Tamlong's land to die there due to severe sickness. This 1976 movie highlights society conflicts between modern and traditional patterns.

Nam's sister, Phi Luuk Nok, has suddenly and mysteriously died. Phi Luuk Nok had a few months old child. It seems she died of a heart attack (หัวใจไหว). So Nam (Aranya Namwong) decides to go to her sister's house to investigate. The house is located in Nong Bua Daeng (หนองบัวแดง). Her brother in law, Phuatai (Sombat Methanee), is a weird man having half crazy and handicapped domestic helpers (คนบ้าคนใบ้). Nam asks to see her sister's body (โลงศพ). The coffin contains a man body. Rumours said that Phi Luuk Nok was Phuatai's wife in legal name only but she had the baby with somebody else. Nam believes that Phuatai killed her sister. One night Nam becomes Phuatai's wife (ภาระผูกพัน with Phuatai) but there is no love. She starts a small revolution in the house by buying expensive furnitures and a new diamond ring (ซื้อที่จำเป็น). Many secrets are around Phuatai. He often visits a fifty years old lady called Than. Thanks to Saree's advice, Nam discovers a mysterious bungalow located in Baan Rim Dong. A defigurated man (คนหน้าผี) lives inside. His name is Toon and he is Phuatai's elder brother. Nam sister's corpse is inside a cupboard in Toon's bungalow. Toon was Phi Luuk Nok's real husband and he hid the body to avoid cremation. Toon was always crazy about women (บ้าผู้หญิง) and was disfigured by a fire when hiding from a jealous husband. Nam is now pregnant. Phuatai believes that his brother Toon is responsible also of the pregnancy. Heart-broken Nam leaves for Bangkok. Nam's father, Dam, wishes to clean his honor with a gun. When arriving in Nong Bua Daeng, Phuatai has died already. It is only a parody to protect himself but a tragedy then happens. The father kills Saree. He wants everything to be for his daughter Nam. It started 20 years ago. Dam was married with Than. They have a daughter, i.e. Nam. But Dam had a mistress so Than left him. A man called Boriphat took Dam's mistress. Dam then killed Boriphat and then Phi Luuk Nok, who is in fact the daughter of Boriphat and his mistress. Finally Dam is killed by Toon. The heavy secret is now revealed. Nam and Phuatai can now have happiness (เป็นสุขแล้ว).

Kan (Sombat Methanee), a policeman, shoots Saen's father, who is smuggling illegal goods. Saen (Kecha Plianvithee) wishes to avenge his father. He invites Kan for a birthday party and drugs him. When Kan wakes up, a dead man is found near him. Kan is accused of murder and is sent ten years in jail. Kan promises to use a baton (คมแฝก) and not a gun anymore for his revenge. After ten years, Kan is back but his family is torn apart. He wishes to revenge against the mafia leader (เจ้าพ่อ) Saen. Sithao Petcharoen and his wife are bar owners. Taprao (Metta Roongrat) is their daughter. Kan's father is dead but Kan is still looking for his mother, his wife Dokmai and his sister Kalog. Dokmai (Kaenjai Meenakanit) is now Saen's wife. Krai Kanchit is a new policeman in the city. Sukon Koewliam, an undertaker (สัปเหร่อ), supports Kan. Kan enters Saen's house to find his mother and sister. Achan (Aranya Namwong), Saen's younger sister, promises to help but she finally betrays him. Kan is captured by Saen. Feeling guilty, Achan releases him. Kan takes refuge in the undertaker’s home. Pleung (Luechai Natnat) arrives in the city and ends up in Sithao's bar. A new ruffian Fai (มือดี)(เพชร พิษณุ) arrives in Saen's team. Kan declares his love to Achan. Ruj Ronnapop (ขายยา) warns Kan about the new hitman. Kan bewares of Fai and Pleung despite Ruj confirms Fai is finally on their side. Fai is Pleung’s younger brother. Fighting happens between Kan, Ruj, Pleung and Saen's men in Sithao's bar. Police has to intervene. Saen wishes to hire Pleung. While simulating being a movie dubber, Ruj finds weapons hidden in wooden crates. He meets Kalog (Sasithorn Phetrung). Kan sends a grenade to destroy the weapons stock as Saen plans to hurt Thailand. Police inspector Krai comes to arrest Saen but another teammate pretends the weapons belong to him. Achan warns Kalog, younger sister of Kan, about Saen's activities. Kalog succumbs to Ruj. Robbery of a house is failing, and a few ruffians are killed. Saen suspects Kalog is the one disclosing his activities schedule to Kan. Her mother tries to intervene but she is killed. Achan discloses that she is the one warning Kan. Saen and his men storm Sithao's bar. Kan is knocked out. As Saen cannot shoot a man sleeping, he closes his eyes before firing. Dokmai interposes and she is the one being shot. Upset, Saen defies Kan and his friends as he kidnapped the three ladies. Saen, Fai and Ruj go to release them but they have to surrender. It is disclosed that Kan is new chief district and both Fai and Rj being undercover policemen. Caretaker Sukon Koewliam is ordered to prepare three coffins. Kan and his friends have to prepare their own graves (ฝังตัวเอง). Sithao helps to release the ladies and gives them guns. Sukon bring back coffins containing policemen. Shooting happens between policemen and ruffians. Saen finally causes his stock of dynamite to explode as his cigar falls on it. Pleung character played by Luechai Natnat disappears after a while during the movie. It is said it was killed. Maybe there was a conflict between Luechai Natnat and the producer / director so the character Pleung has to be removed.

Two partial reels (2-3) were also found in year 2013 thanks to a teacher and collector of old items in Songkhla area. The remaining sequence is lasting 28 minutes. It is in 35mm format as actors’ voice can still be heard despite image and sound being in poor quality. The image is damaged due to water soaking (โดนน้ำ). The director is Sor Asanajinda. The movie features 16 songs according to the film poster. 6 songs have disappeared. Only 10 songs are left. Missing reel 3 in Thai Film Archives is about Sombat going to marry Prim. The ruffians lie to Sombat’s father to invite him to the wedding party. They kidnap him to have a guarantee. The main actress Aranya Namwong is also captured by them. In reel 4, Sombat comes to help and rescue his father and Aranya. In a short online sequence, Aranya hits Sombat with her car. Finally, she accepts to take him in her car as he claims to be hurt. Prachuap Ruekyamdee is doing a massage to Metta Roongrat. Suddenly the car driven by Sombat arrives swiftly in their house property. Ruj Ronnapop seems to enjoy alcohol. Seeing Sombat and Aranya together causes a big ire to Metta. She tries to get back Sombat but to no avail.

Jamroon Nuatjim is Kratin's father. Tan (Aranya Namwong) is the daughter of subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Phet (Tat Ekathat). Dio's father died in subdistrict headman Phet’s garden before by falling from a tree while harvesting sugar palm. Phet forbids Dio to meet his daughter but he agrees to give him a job. Dio's mother is sick and they are running out of money. Kratin gives Dio 100 Baht to buy some medicine. Dio starts to work in Phet's garden to harvest sugar palm. Kratin helps him. Two ruffians (including Pan Borapet) working for subdistrict headman Phet makes joke about him and his relationship with Kratin. A fight occurs, and ruffians get beaten by Dio and Jamroon. They complain to subdistrict headman Phet but as Tan saw them, then Phet knows that both are lying and were looking for troubles first. They quit their work and promise to get revenge towards Dio. Plok (Choomporn Theppitak) wishes Tan to become his wife. He plans to abuse her with the help of the ruffians chased by Phet. Once abused (เสียแล้ว), he will ask for her hand and subdistrict headman Phet cannot refuse. Ladders to climb palm trees are damaged. Dio and Jamroon suspect the ruffians. One evening, Jamroon, being drunk, have arguments with Plok and his men. He gets severely beaten. Plok’s father is played by Sawin Sawangrat. Tamleung (Kaenjai Meenakanit) is another lady fond of Dio. Annual festival (งานประจำปี) occurs and features a boat race. Plok tries to kidnap Tan (ลูกตาล) but Dio helps her on time. Plok and his father have to apologize to subdistrict headman Phet and his daughter. Subdistrict headman Phet wishes to give money to Dio as a reward but he refuses. Dio and Tan declare love to each other. Kut, also loving Tan, has even a fight with Dio but recognises he was wrong to fight against his friend. Being jealous, Kratin complains to subdistrict headman Phet to break Dio and Tan relationship. Tan gets beaten by her father and is locked in her room. Dio escapes beating thanks to her mother but he loses his job in the orchard. They have to leave. Dio visits Tan in her room and they become lovers. About to leave by boat, Tan also comes and announces she is leaving her father as she loves Dio and is now his wife. Kratin and Kut are heartbroken. Dio and Tan take refuge in a relative home. Plok and his father announce to subdistrict headman Phet that they will help to find where Dio and Tan are hiding. Dio and Tan move to a relative's place, being a village leader called Duang. His wife, Mae Sri, is upset and afraid to have problems with subdistrict headman Phet so Dio, Tan and the mother move to Bangkok. Plok decides to kidnap Kratin in order to know where Dio is hiding. His father wishes to have Kratin becoming his minor wife. The issue turns badly as other ruffians fight with the father over Kratin. The father dies and Kut is able to release his sister. Life is harsh in Bangkok and Dio has to be tricycle and taxi driver. A child is born. After two years, they finally move back to Duang's place. Mae Sri informs subdistrict headman Phet, who kidnaps his own daughter with Plok's help. Dio, upset, goes to subdistrict headman Phet's house bringing his son. Phet refuses to Dio to see his wife and pushes him severely out. Hearing that Plok plans to rob subdistrict headman Phet’s house at night time by claiming being Dio, Dio has to help. One of his friends warns the police. Plok is killed during the fightings. Seeing that Dio is finally a good and brave man, sub district headman Phet agrees to an official wedding of Dio and Tan.

Following some fighting, Sombat becomes the new leader and gets a crown shaped like a tiger head (มงกุฎหัวเสือ). Sombat summons a spirit doctor (หมอผี) to cure Sasitorn Phetrung (ศศิธร เพชรรุ่ง), who is blind. Some ingredients are missing. In the city, a sequence shows Chana Sriubon, Chatchadaporn Laksanawed (ชัชฎาพร), Sawin Sawangrat and Sor Asanajinda talking together. Sombat and the spirit doctor enter in Pa Sor’s house to get some of the missing ingredients. Sombat meets Chadaporn and then Aranya. Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit is the mother of the two daughters, i.e. Chadaporn and Aranya. Sombat is injured by the bandit he defeated before to become the village leader. Chana Sriubon neutralises the bandit so that Sombat can run away. Luechai Natnat is then also injured in Pa Sor's house and flees. He is chased by ruffians but gets help from Sombat. Sombat comes back again to the house to have discussion with Pa Sor and ends up kidnapping Aranya and Sasitorn. Sawin and his ruffians chase them. Chana Sriubon tries to prevent them but gets neutralised. Sombat seems very unhappy over Aranya. Aranya saves Sombat's life while he is attacked again by the rogue bandit. Sawin captures Pa Sor and Chana Sriubon. Aranya asks Sombat to help Pa Sor captured by Sawin. Wilaiwan releases Chana. Luechai gets rid of Sawin. Final duel happens between Sombat and Pa Sor until they realise they are relatives (father / son?).

Tiew is a young man performing Nora (รำโนราห์ใต้) dance in Nakhon Sri Thammarat. The Nora is a traditional dance of South Thailand. In South Thai language it is called the "Chatri" (ชาตรี). Tiew is in love with a lady called Pimpa (Ratanaporn Intarakamhaeng). Pimpa is pregnant with him but her grandmother refuses this love. She drugs Pimpa with a sleep potion in order that a Bangkok lawyer becomes her husband instead of a Nora dance performer. Pimpa wishes to get suicide but her aunt convinces her to tell the truth to Tiew. She doesn't dare and Tiew rejects Pimpa. Pimpa decides to keep the child and gives her child the name "Nora". 18 years passed. Pimpa is only a minor wife (เมียน้อย) and works as a domestic helper to pay for Nora studies. The lawyer's daughter, called Kaekae (Preeya Roongrueng), dislikes Nora (Pissamai Wilaisak) and likes to spread rumours that Nora's mother works as prostitute. Other students mock Nora. Nora and her real father miss each other. Nora sells sweets in school to help her mother. Kanchit (Sombat Methanee) is Kaekae's boyfriend. Kanchit is seeing many girls as he is rich, single and handsome. Nora learns to perform Nora dance. Kanchit gets interest in Nora despite Nora has already a boyfriend called Sompop. Kanchit is fed up with hi-so girls (ร่างกายสวยแต่ใจไม่สวย). Kaekae's mother hires a ruffian to hurt Nora after a performance. He throws some acid on her face. Sompop is not willing to visit Nora anymore due to her ghost (ผี) face. Hopefully Nora succeeds to recover. Kanchit plans to marry Nora. Following Kaekae's mother orders, Nora is kidnaped. Kanchit follows up the kidnapers and the Thai police is giving a hand. Kaekae got punished as being raped instead of Nora and she becomes crazy. The mother is jailed. Tiew still performs Nora but gets no more interest from the public (โนราห์สมัยเก่า - โนราห์สมัยใหม่). Tiew dies on the stage following a lost bullet. Art (ศิลป์) needs to be kept. Nora needs to perform to honour her father's memory. There is a conflict with Nora and Kanchit wedding day. Kanchit cannot change the date and threaten to cancel the wedding. Nora chooses to go to Nakhon Sri Thammarat. The movie highlights cultural aspects, arts protection and conservation. It is a cherished theme by director Cherd Songsri. This movie is Cherd Songsri's first movie and has still an excellent color conservation. As often, Preeya Roongrueng plays the bad girlfriend. It is a typical 1960s movie with leading actor (พระเอก) coming from rich background, leading actress (นางเอก) coming from a poor background, villains (ตัวกง) wishing to hurt Nora, funny comedians supporting the leading actor (ตัวตลก - Lor Tok as Kanchit's driver), bad girls (นางอิจฉา) played by Kaekae and her mother. It mixes action, love, comedy and drama. It was the most successful Thai movie in 1966. This movie has also been adapted as a Thai TV serie (ละคร).

Thai movie Chum Hat Jai (ชุมทางหาดใหญ่), directed by Sor Asanajinda in year 1966, is lost in Thailand but luckily a sequence of 1h08mn (three last reels) is still left. It was stored in a museum of a Thai temple in the north of Thailand. Only incomplete summary is available. This movie is a mix of comedy, romance and action. This movie was shot in Songkhla area so showing how this southern city was fifty years ago. As the movie is in 16mm format, it requires live dubbing so the remaining extract is in mute state making it more difficult to understand. Sena Prachan (Mitr Chaibancha) is an army officer. Jing Gang (Petchara Chaowarat) is a fearsome young lady (ไม่กลัวใคร). Sena Prachan is pretending being crazy (อาคารเป็นบ้า) in order to spy Chao Likim's (Tawan Siriwat) activities. Ai Darling (foreign actress) is Chao Likim's daughter. Sena's kisses are able to calm down Ai Darling and also Jing Gang while he is investigating on ruffians. Many other characters are present such as Chanee Yotchai as ruffian, Ruj Ronnapop (Mayong), Sukon Koewliam, Choomporn Theppitak, Taksin Jampol (Bo Bang Rajan), Preeya Roongrueng, Adul Dulyarat (captain). Ai Darling and Jing gang fight over Sena Prachan. Tat (Tat Ekathat) is head of police. Mayong is shot facing seven ruffians. Chao Likim hits his own daughter considered as a traitor (ลูกสาวทรยศ). Sena Prachan helps but is also finally captured. Jing Gang’s parents are Somkuan (Somkuan Krajangsat) and Thanyong (Sarinthip Siriwan). Thanyong gets shot while helping Bo Bang Rajan, who is also an undercover military officer. Sor Asanajinda is also playing. A train is chased by a car and an helicopter through Songkhla region landscape. Somkuan, a repent (ผู้ร้ายที่จะกลับใจ), is forced by Chao Likim to be part of a prisoner exchange deal (แลกตัว) but he is carrying a bomb. The movie ends up with multiple shootings between ruffians and the heroes. Somkuan gets shot by Chao Likim but this latter also gets shot by Jing Gang and Sena Prachan.

It is a lost movie in Thailand. Thanks to a group of former dubbers performing with 16mm movies, an old reel with small parts of lost films was found in year 2013. Mitr Chaibancha is playing a disabled soldier. The left sequence is very short but it is possible to see Mitr, Petchara and a few additional actors. The movie summary is still available thanks to old Thai movies magazines. Mitr and Petchara love each other. Petchara gets pregnant. As a soldier, Mitr needs to go to fight in South Korea. No news from him are received anymore. Petchara gives birth to a daughter. She marries again believing Mitr is dead. Mitr is not dead but he is now a poor soldier disabled with part of his leg lost. Malee Wetpraseri, mother of Petchara, believes he is a dirty beggar and chases him away. It is a sad story. The movie entered Thai oscars competition on that year also. The 20 seconds sequence is the scene with Petchara wearing a red dress, Mitr as a beggar and grandmother Malee trying to chase him away.

Sor Asanajinda is the movie director. Somebody gives a letter to Pissamai. Mitr arrives and is upset with Pissamai. Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit puts a crown on Pissamai’s head. Mitr decides to paint her portrait. He acts like crazy causing Pissamai to cry. Wilaiwan has to interpose herself. A young man (ฤทธี นฤบาล) punches Mitr to calm him down. Sukon Koewliam is playing a father’s role. Mitr brings Pissamai in a cave. Mitr wishes to paint her portrait again. He becomes crazy again. The young man tries to interpose again but this time he is punched by Mitr. Chadaporn Wachirapranee is seen in bed with her lover or husband, i.e. an older man (Adul Dulyarat). Uamdeuan Uttsada is interested in the young man. Pissamai decides to quit this house. Chadaporn welcomes her to leave the house. But Chadaporn’s older husband is unhappy with Chadaporn about this. Pissamai takes refuge in her friend’s place. Wilaiwan and Uamdeuan Uttsada follow her up to here. But Mitr arrives first and kidnaps Pissamai. Mitr and Pissamai help each other as they are stuck in moving sand. Mitr being sick is visited by Pissamai and her mother Wilaiwan. Mitr gives them a letter. Mitr is becoming crazy again and flees through the hospital window. Taksin Jampol and Chadaporn flirt. Mitr is running like a worn guy in the mountains. Taksin threatens Pissamai but Mitr is here to help. Mitr brings Taksin in his secret cave. Mitr keeps the crown that Taksin conveits. He informs a ruffian leader. Meanwhile the young man talks to Pissamai again. Weird sounds are heard in the ceiling. Sukholiem is hiding here. Everybody ends up in Mitr's secret cave. Fighting happens as Taksin and the ruffian leader want the crown. Taksin changes side. During the fight, the ruffians’ leader hits Mitr’s head again the rocky wall and dies by falling in a cave hole. Mitr recovers his memory and he is not crazy anymore. Mitr and Pissamai can then marry.

เกียรติศักดิ์ทหารเสือ is a Thai movie released in year 1965. Sor Asanajinda is movie director and actor. The film is lost in Thailand but luckily there is still a “Behind the screen” sequence lasting 20mn. It is in 16mm format so there is no sound and is in black and white color. Main actors are Sombat Methanee, Chaiya Suriyun and Pissamai Wilaisak. A few sequences are featured, i.e. Sor Asanajinda giving orders to Taksin Jampol, Sombat Methanee and Chaiya Suriyun, Pissamai crying, soldiers meeting in which Sombat is stripped of his medals by the general himself and gets slapped also, meeting between Sor Asanajinda and Adul Dulyarat. A general comes and strips himself of his medals. He wishes to kill himself but Sor Asanajinda prevents him to do so. They are all disrupted by an event. During a big assembly in full uniforms, Sor Asanajinda is repeating spade fighting. While Adul is writing, an officer is going to shoot him. Hopefully Sombat intervenes at same time to stop him. The soldier has same face as Sombat! Sequences riding horses. Fight between Sombat and Chaiya. Sequence under the rain where Sombat carries Pissamai. Chaiya helps to get a flag back to avoid Sombat to be executed. The story is inspired by the Three Musketeers from French author Alexandre Dumas. Another version was released in year 1983 and directed again by Sor Asanajinda with actors Toon Hiransap, Kowit Wattanakul, อนุสรณ์ เตชะปัญญา and Pissamai Wilaisak. Finding and watching the 1983 version would allow better understanding of the 1965 behind the screen sequences.
