Thai movie สารวัตรหมาบ้า / The Cop was released in year 2013 and lasts 1h59mn. Movie director is MR Chalermchatri Yukol. He is the son of the famous Thai movie director MC Chatrichalerm Yukol. Behind the scene sequence. Wasan (สมชาย เข็มกลัด) is a Thai police inspector (สัรวัด). He drinks alcohol. His family relationship is very stressed. He is in conflict with another police inspector Chalad. Despite being an unusual police inspector, his boss still trusts him to solve a politician's teen daughter murder. He has three days to solve the case. Chalad (ชลัฏ ณ สงขลา) imposes a policewoman assistant, called Lin (Krystal Vee), to him. His team also includes Note Chernyim. Affected by a bad case a few years ago where children were shot by drugs traffickers, Wasan changed to become bad temper and impulsive. A man is suspected of kidnapping kids. After a failed attempt to catch him, Thai police catches him and Wasan shoots him. After doctor's investigation, the shot children kidnapper is not linked to the politician's daughter murder. Wasan and his team investigate on another man providing children for prostitution. The arrest in a bordel turns badly and two police assistants are killed. Wasan beats the shooter severely. Wasan is finally demoted due to excess of power usage. Meanwhile while sleeping at police station, his wife is killed, and his kids have disappeared. With a few colleagues, he storms ruffians' place, but his kids are not found. Wasan ends up in jail where he finds a disfigured ruffian, he caught himself many years ago. He thinks it is the ruffian's sadic revenge and Wasan has to beg him about information related to his children. Lin has a short relationship with Wasan. It is discovered that Lin has a double face, i.e. she is a hard-working policeman and she is also the daughter of a woman shot during a police case many years ago where Wasan and Chalad were involved. Lin traps Wasan and Note. Note is shot. About to shoot Wasan, Chalad shoots Lin and discloses he is the one who shot her mother as he wanted to keep her stolen money. Chalad is about to shoot Wasan to keep everything secret but...

Many romantic movies related to Valentine day are released recently in Thailand. This one is “My valentine”. This movie is based on Mai’s different three love stories. Mai, a young modern woman, has no boyfriend. Valentine day is coming and she is desperate as she is still alone. Working in a life assurance company, she finally meets Mike, who is involved in charitable associations. As she needs to go to a family diner, she uses Mike to simulate her boyfriend. He requests to take care of her heart (ดูแลหัวใจ). Mike (มิค) is a busy man. He never has time in his busy agenda to meet Mai except through Skype. Flowers or dolls are sent as gifts but Mike has never time even for her birthday. He is the perfect bachelor and match but he has just no time available. Finally on New Year’s Eve he throws away his phone to have time with her. Another story pops up. A new assurance customer, Art (อาร์ท), becomes her boyfriend. He is very funny but he is very direct, is not romantic, is a cheapskate, is selfish, loves himself much more, never brings her to shopping, never holds her hand, shares bills. Her boyfriend is acting this way as he has a deception in a previous love story. The third encounter is with an old friend, Kong (ก้อง), working in highway toll booth. She dumped him four years ago. She breaks his arm by accident so she has to take care of him again. Love finally emerges as she realizes that Kong is a very nice and caring young man. Kong disappears after a while. She finally knows that he has a cancer. So all potential three boyfriends have some good qualities but each of them has also drawbacks. Who shall Mai choose? Through a final reversal she chooses Kong. This modern movie is even mixed with some Thai Japanese cartoon. The movie slogan is “Love is same as a flatulence. You cannot see it but still can feel it”. It is the same team who made the 2009 movie “Before Valentine” (ก่อนรัก หมุนรอบตัวเรา).

It is a comedy about three men unfaithful to their wives. They always need to find excuses for their wives as they are coming back home late. Up to now their lies succeeded to convince their wives. Teng (actor Shahkrit Yamnarm) needs to find a new model. He finds a beautiful woman in a mall and takes pictures of her but forget to ask her contact references. Teng finally meets her in a bar. Her name is Sosi. Teng is expert to play the liar (สบายๆ) but Sosi is also lying. Her husband is called Sia. Finally Teng's two friends are uncovered by their wives as their lies were getting bigger and bigger (working late - OT, late meetings, fight against ruffians...). Proofs were stored in their blackBerry smartphones. To make him stop, one of the wife sings in a pub he often frequents and she accepts tips from customers (ทำประชด). Teng has a lovely wife called Bow but a love story is really starting between Sosi and Teng. Finally the male stratagems are discovered. They have to stay home and bring their wives to a holidays resort. But they cannot stop trying seducing other women. They use sedative drugs to make their wives fall asleep (ยานอนหลับ). The drugs don’t last enough and the three men are caught being with girls again by their wives. A final last chance is given. Sia is upset by Sosi’s behavior and wishes to punish her. Sosi’s brother calls Teng for help but Teng has promised to his wife to stop seeing Sosi. Teng and his friends try to rescue Sosi but are captured. Their wives, following them, are also captured. Sia forces them to play silly and humiliating games (mud game, paint game...) to save their husbands. Mum Jokmok, as a guest star apparition, makes them all released. Bow and Teng reconcile once again. But the three men cannot stop flirting (หลายใจ) when seeing beautiful women. Morality is kept as the husbands stays with their wife. There is a few comic guest stars apparition, i.e. Akom Preedakul, Note Chernyim, Mum Jokmok, Jaturong Mokjok. Former Miss Photogenic International Passorn Boonyakiat is playing one of the wives. There is a succession of gags similar to Thai TV comedy shows. This movie is about the old chauvinist Thai tradition to have minor wives (เมียน้อย). Gags are often over exaggerated with easy references such as the shy timid wife wearing glasses.

Busaba and Khun are preparing their wedding. Following a misunderstanding, Khun is accused of killing a member of Parliament. He is given a DVD by this member of Parliament before his death. The DVD is hidden inside the cover of Thai movie "แอบคนข้างบ้าน". Khun is sent to jail. Some ruffians try to force him to give back the DVD but to no avail. There is a comical representation of the jail environment. He is sent with his inmates to famous and harsh prison called 8E88. There are some references to famous Thai carceral movie "ขั้ง 8" (Butterfly grey). The ruffians threaten his fiancee so Khun has no choice but escape from 8E88 prison in order to help her. He succeeds to do so as the guardians are very lenient as they receive orders to let him go. It is a trick from the ruffians leader in order to exchange the DVD versus Khun's girlfriend. All classical Thai comic topics are here, i.e. lady boy, flatulence, police being fools, ghosts... Busaba is hurt by the ruffians and dies. Busaba ghost still wishes to help her fiance Khun. Khun searches for the DVD inside a DVD rental company's stock. The ruffians arrive at the DVD company. The police follows up. Khun cannot see his girlfriend Busaba (ตายแล้ว) as he has an amulet (ของ) around the neck. Busaba tries to protect Khun against the ruffians. Thanks to a video recording Khun demonstrates his innocence as the DVD contains proofs regarding the illegal activities of the ruffians leader. Khun forces the police to shoot him so that he can be with Busaba in the ghost world. Busaba finally wakes up so Khun made the wrong decision to die!

Noi decides to enter the monkhood (บวช) and rejects his rock star attitude. He is looking for calm (เอาความสงบ) as he is a stressed man. The abbot reminds him the analogy between a hose splashing randomly due to water pressure and the spirit always wandering. Funny gags happen when monks are going out for alms (บิณฑบาตร) due to small size comic actor Koeti Aramboy trying to offer food to a giant monk or when a man is still jealous that his wife has a sweet spot for the abbot since decades. As usual there are flatulence jokes when spicy and sour food is given to monks. Robbers steal the temple bell (ระฆัง). Later they come to steal the Buddha head (มาขโมยพระ). Monks are all drugged but hopefully the main Buddha statue (หลวงพ่อ) is not stolen as it is too heavy! The gang leader is a burlesque Chinese vendor. He uses false claims regarding the monks that they enter monkhood while leaving pregnant women behind them. Noi is smart enough to counter their lies. Actor Akom Preedakul is playing a funny Thai boxing trainer bringing coyote dancers to the temple! Similar to 1980s-1990s decade comedy ghost movies, there is an sequence about villagers fleeing ghosts. Unfortunately the Buddha statue head is cut and stolen by the Chinese gang. The giant monk disguises himself as soft real Bouddha statue (Luang Pho Nim - หลวงพ่อนิ่ม) as a trick to find their cache. Then Noi asks his former bikers friends for help. They are led by Ed carabao, real leader of famous Thai band Carabao. The robbers are captured and the Buddha head recovered.

Annie, a young Bangkokian woman, is coming with four friends to help for the development of an Akha mountain village (คนดอย) in North of Thailand. Villagers doesn't speak well Thai (พูดไทยไม่ชัด) and call Annie "Khun dok mai" (คุนดอกไม้). Tit Po, mountain villager, is fond of Annee. Some ruffians capture a few villagers as they wish to build a resort and chase villagers. As a typical cliche, the boss is massaged by two bimbos. Thanks to cooperation between Annie and the villagers, the prisoners escape successfully. Annie is back to Bangkok as her father is sick. Tit Po with the help of three villagers decide to look for her in Bangkok. There are typical gags about countryside people discovering Bangkok for the first time. They stealing a fire truck to chase after Annie but are followed by the police. They are rescued by a kathoey (กะเทย) prostitute and need to resolve to pickpocketing to have money. They succeed to find a job in a Chinese restaurant. One customer is Mum Jokmok having issues with his wife while dining with his mistress. This movie includes all the major Thai comic actors that can be seen in 2000s decade movies (actor Mum Jokmok, actor Sang Tong See Sai - สังข์ทอง สีใส - famous for his ugly face, actress Duang Ta having biased eyes, actor Arn Terdterng - อ่าง เทิดเทิง - with his famous stammering speaking, actor Note Chernyim โน้ต เชิญยิ้ม, actor Somchai Sakdikul - สมชาย ศักดิกุล ...). There is a succession of comic sketches while they are looking for Annie. Tit Po discovers that Annie has a fiance already. The fiance doesn't love Anee and just uses her (งานแต่ง and then งานศพ). They decide to interrupt the wedding party and saves her from the bad fiance, who wants to hurt Annee following an old conflict revenge between their fathers. They finally all return to the Northern mountains.

One hundred years ago two robbers (a young lady and a comic character), a false doctor and a former monk flee the police. A foreigner (ฝรั่ง) in collusion with a corrupted village head takes away the farmers' children to use them as slaves. To get back their children they need to pay a big amount of money. Farmers have heard of a local Robin Hood called Seua (เสือ). They try to contact him but meet the above quatuor but not the real Seua. They go after the kidnapers. They finally meet the real Seua. The Magnificent Five are united. They go together to search for the children but spend more time to argue on the reward sharing. The group reaches their ruffians' camp. They use Trojan horse tactic but it fails and the young lady (Paula Taylor) escapes nearly to serious problems with the camp leader. They need to reach the sea before a boat takes away the children. A fight happens. The foreigner and his ruffians are deafeated so need to flee and sail away. The young lady then decide also to neutralize the camp leader to avoid anymore kidnapping to happen. Charoenporn Awnlamai plays the comic expert in explosives. In many modern Thai movies, foreigners are often the bad guys. In old movies, the bad guys were the Burmese or the communist threat. This movie is a blending of action and comedy. Could this movie be seen as as a criticism of the foreigners stealing the Thai youth?

Two groups, led by Hua Jayae and Thao Lai Kan, are worshipping a tiger rock deity. They fight against each other for the control of the village. A volcano eruption happens. A mysterious man then appears on the rock. He is a great fighter. His name is Phi Seua. There is a belief that he is the one depicted on old drawings inside a local cave. The deity guardian mentions that Phi Seua is coming here to help Hua Jayae. In fact, Phi Seua accepts gold from both parties. Phi Seua meets Mai Tho, young lady, who is part of a Padaung giraffe women village. As she is assaulted by Thao Lai Kan's ruffians, Phi Seua helps her. As he protects the Padaung village, he is now hunted by the two groups. Phi Seua then faces various criminals, i.e. the hell twins (แฝดนรก) played by the real Banleurit twins, seven brothers with a face similar to famous actor Sangthong Sreesai (สังข์ทอง สีใส), a big and fat ruffian commanding a Godzilla monster. Phi Seua then becomes the Padaung villager's trainer. Phi Seua leaves the Padaung giraffe women village, which is then attacked. Mai Tho is kidnaped so Phi Seua has to come back to help and defeat the bad guys. This movie is similar to a Manga story. It mixes comedy and action. It has many references to famous movies such as Lord of the rings, the return of the Jedi, western spaghetti, the Magnificent Seven. It includes many famous comic actors from decade 2000s.

Thai movie คนปีมะ was released in year 2003. It lasts 1h59mn. Note Chernyim is the movie director. It is a musical Comedy. Four guys are having bad luck, i.e. Nok (นภัสกร มิตรเอม) a Thai boxer defeated and his girlfriend leaving him for an older richer man, Kung (Jaturong Mokjok) a Likay performer injuring incidentally his mother (Naowarat Yooktanun), David (ถั่วแระ เชิญยิ้ม) always failing magic tricks, Pao (ชูษี เชิญยิ้ม) wishing to be a singer. As they complain that gods are not helping them, the gods finally send an angel (เทวดา) called Sai Fa to help them. Same as Terminator movie scene, the angel comes to help them. All are born the horse year (คนปีมะ). Multiple country songs (ลูกทุ่ง) are happening during the movie. The five friends help a young lady called O (นิธิพร มั่นนาค). Her father is close to Nai Amnat (Krung Srivilai). Nai Amnat tries to be a nice man as he gives money to support the school, where O is a teacher, but he is in fact a ruffians’ leader dealing with drugs. His friends tease Nok as he is only a poor guy (หมาวัด) and has little chance to win O’s heart (ดอกฟ้า). Nok meets Chatchai Plengpanich, his idol. Chusak Aiemsuk is playing a small ruffian’s role also. A woman has proofs against Nai Amnat’s illegal activities. Before fleeing, she gives a CD to her son. He takes refuge with the five friends but the ruffians keep looking for the child. The five friends protect the child and the angle Sai Fa uses his special power to help them. Nai Amnat hires hitman Prakan (Akom Preedakul) to get rid of the five friends. Police finally intervenes to catch the ruffians. Nok gets rid of the leader through Thai boxing. Sai Fa has to go back to heaven and to leave his friends. The movie got a revenue of 25M Baht.

This musical movie is featuring real singers such as Sorapong Chatree (สรพงศ์ ชาตรี), Samart Payakaroon (สามารถ พยัคฆ์อรุณ), สุนารี ราชสีมา, หรั่ง ร็อคเคสตร้า, ทิพย์ ธรรมสิริ, Yodrak Salakjai (ยอดรัก สลักใจ). Movie director is Sayan Chantaraviboon. Yodrak and Note Chernyim are performing in an attraction park. Yodrak tries to protect lady Trirak (Trirak Rakkarndee) aggressed by ruffians led by Ping. Mat (Samart Payakaroon - สามารถ พยัคฆ์อรุณ) stops his Thai boxing match to help also. But Yodrak (Yodrak Salakjai) and Mat are fired from the attraction park for breaking rules. They end up in Pon's house. Pon (Sorapong Chatree) is Yodrak's old friend. Pon is a former singer, who had great success. He is now disabled. Pon had an accident. A car overthrown Pon and his girlfriend. Out of job, all friends have to do small jobs to earn money. Romance occurs between Su (สุนารี ราชสีมา) and Yodrak. Music producers conflicts occur between producer Ron Rittichai from Grand Opinion and producer Phanom (พนม) from Diamond Note as singer Rang invites Thip to sing on the stage. It is songs war (สงครามเพลง / สงครามธุรกิจ) between them. This rivalry causes singers to be enemies (ศัตรู). Singers cannot even contact each other such as Rang and Thip. As they have difficulties to pay debts, Pon is upset but he still is trying to sell his songs. Rang promises to help. Ping tries to aggress Thirak again. The friends have issues with Ping, Boo’s son, who threatens to burn Pon’s house as a revenge. Pon succeeds to sell two songs thanks to Rang’s help. Mat becomes a singer also. Lady from opposite side (สุนารี ราชสีมา) makes Mat to drink a lot. Producer Phanom copies Ron’s producer strategy (ลิขสิทธิ์ใหม่ / ลิขสิทธิ์เก่า). Phanom is helped by ธีรพงศ์ เหลียวรักวงศ์ to coerce Mat. Mat is too busy with work. The lady doesn't let him go back home. When back home, he found that Trirak is going to marry with one of the sons of Boo Wibunnan. Mat misses being an ordinary man as there is no rest when being a superstar singer. Finally, they get on well again. Grand Opinion Producer Ron decides to call back Pon. Pon has finished to write a song in honor of his deceased girlfriend. Young lady Thip (ทิพย์ ธรรมสิริ) has similar face as her and will be the one to sing this new song. A concert is organised to differentiate the two producers. Pon and Mat arrive by balloon. Thip sings Pon's new song. It is a huge success. Shooting happens as a revenge and Pon is shot (ถูกยิ่ง). The two producers accept to do peace to ensure Pon's death has a meaning.

Dao (ดาว), a young lady, is living with her grandmother (ยาย), who is sick. They are poor. Pen, young man, just defrocked from monkhood. His father, village leader (ผู้ใหญ่), wishes to find a wife for him. Dao asks Pen to find a doctor as her grandmother is very sick. The grandmother gives Dao a ring, which is a family heritage. Em, Dao's friend, invites her to see an outdoor movie at the temple fair. It is a trick as another male villager called Chot wishes to meet Dao. Pen loves secretly Dao and is upset by other male villagers interest into Dao. Dao is feeling unwell and goes back home. She finds her grandmother died while sleeping. Due to the ring, Dao becomes a Kraseu (กระสือ), a filth-eating floating ghost with a head, a trailing heart and intestines. Kraseu steals the food from another ghost, a Phi Pop (ผีปอบ) who eats intestines. Villagers have now to flee two ghosts (ผีหลอก). Villagers identify Dao as the Kraseu ghost. The Phi Pop ghost has possessed (ถูกปอบเข้าสิง) another young villager lady called Raem (แรม). Her parents identify that she is a ghost as they saw her eating raw meat. Pen wishes to marry Dao as he doesn't know she has become a ghost. Chot finally wishes to marry with Raem so her parents are embarrassed as she is a ghost. Raem agrees to the wedding. On the wedding night, Chot wishes to reach the seventh paradise level (สวรรค์ 7) but it is a failure as his wife is a Phi Pop. Nevertheless Riem spares his life. Phi Kraseu and Phi Pop fight together. Riem's parents consult a master (อาจารย์). Within the first three months, the possessed can be saved (สุภาพเป็นคน) if the spirit is chased away. After it is too late. Another master is called as the first one failed. He recovers Dao successfully but the task is harder with Raem. Finally both ladies are safe but the love between Raem and Pen is stronger so Dao accepts Raem to become Pen’s minor wife. Basic Fx effects similar to 1970s / 1980s Thai horror movies are used such as the infamous howling dog during nighttime. It is “Baan Phi Pop” similar recipe mixing comedy and light horror. The soundtrack is a patchwork of other stolen soundtrack such as Friday 13.

Dracula flies directly to Molina's laboratory but Thep intervenes to stop him. Dracula has to retreat. Thep simulates being a vampire (ผีดิบ), but Doctor Molina can identify Thep is a human and hires him as bodyguard. Thep brings Molina around to show her Thailand. Ruffians, led by Somsak, try to kidnap Doctor Molina in a floating market but Thep helps again. Ruffians are trying to kidnap Doctor Molina as her experiments could help to build weapons. She is glad that Thep is helping her without a second thought. Wishing to get rid of Thep, Dracula attracts him in an underground den to play cards and to drink. Thep (คนหน้าผี) is drunk. When he wakes up, he tries to kill Dracula sleeping in his coffin, but he is bitten by him and becomes a vampire. Being a vampire, Thep attracts Doctor Molina in a trap and she is kidnapped. Boo helps and Thep recovers. He helps Molina to escape from Dracula. Ruffians are chasing Thep and Doctor Molina. Ruffians kidnap doctor Molina and they hide in an unfinished building. Thep and police surround the building. Ruffians ask for a plane to quit Thailand with their hostage (ตัวประกัน). Thep helps Police. Arabic men give money reward but Thep refuses as Thai people have kindness (น้ำใจ). Doctor Molina promises not to forget Thep. At the airport, Thep meets Dracula again. This movie related to a vampire is another B grade Thai horror movie. Dead bodies are found in a village. Doctor Solot is ordering his caretaker to find bodies part. Nobody in the village can meet or see doctor Solot. Doctor Solot has one exorbitant eye and needs to finish a mysterious job. He wishes to make a perfect creature with dead elements. Meanwhile a few Bangkokian friends (Eung, Dong, Vichak) arrive in the village. The Frankenstein creature created by doctor Solot is defeated. At the same time a vampire spirit (วิญญาณ) is released unfortunately by a villager lady called Tengnam. The spirit was prisoner of the bottle previously by the local sorcerer (หมอผี). The vampire, called Maekin (เมฆินทร์), takes possession of doctor Solot's body. He is looking for beautiful ladies blood. He likes a young lady called Eungkam. A nun (Nang Suchatada) arrives in the village. The vampire wishes to get nun Suchatada as his wife. The nun, the Bangkokian friends and Eungkam unify their efforts to fight against the vampire. The local sorcerer contacts an hermit (ฤาษี) to know how to get rid of the vampire. Three weapons are needed to kill the vampire, i.e. jasmine flower (ดอกมะลิ), a magic sword and blood from virgin. Tengnam is also under the vampire spell. She gives poisoned fruits to the local sorcerer who dies. Anyway the nun succeeds to get all ingredients to fight the vampire. The vampire is defeated by the nun but many villagers and Vichak die. This B grade movie has a little budget, simple Fx effects and features many deaths. It is a remake of the movie shot in 1973 with Sombat Methanee.

Various young ladies are staying in the dormitory (a beauty student, a tourist guide - ผุสรัตน์ ดารา...). Samran is having affairs with some tenants. A lady called Payong is having affair with him for money only but Samran is jealous when Payong meets other men such an older photographer (หี่ยวฟ้า) or a movie director. Payong dreams to be a cinema star (ดารา) so she is ready to do everything to reach stardom. Wat helps a tourist guide called Neeramon, who is aggressed by ruffians. She is staying in the new dormitory. They start a relationship. Samran and Praprasee try to trap Wat so that Neeramon believes he is unfaithful. It fails and the infamy between Samran and Praprasee is disclosed. Note Chernyim makes Burapa pregnant but he refuses to take responsibility. Saran takes advantage of Burapa distress. Burapa accuses Sapran to make her pregnant. Prapasee suggests to Saran to use an illegal doctor for abortion. As Burapa's abortion is a failure, police arrests Saran as abortion is illegal in Thailand. Praprasee refuses to give back the new dorm but finally dies in a car accident. After exiting prison, finally Samran is employed as a domestic helper. There is an allegory comparison between the new dormitory building (หอใหม่) and the old one (หอเก่า) and between the old lady (Mother Ning) and the young ladies (Praprasee, Payong, Neeramon, Burapa).

Ting is the mute (ใบ้) guardian of the old house. He is similar to a Quasimodo. Strange and scary noises can be heard at nighttime especially in the attic. Bones (ที่เก็บกระดูก) are found there. Kaew has her periods for the first time (เป็นสาวแล้ว). Through hidden passages in the house walls, the guardian spies the family. Through incantations, the guardian is calling an old spirit (ปลุกวิญญาณ) in front of a skeleton. The spirit needs a virgin (หญิงพรหมจารี) and pure blood. The spirit extended his life since more than 100 years thanks to virgin blood (บริสุทธิ์). Kaew is finally possessed (ถูกผีเข้า), speaks with a male voice and has extreme strength (แรงมาก). She tries to strangle the domestic helper. While her father is out to get a doctor, Kaew continues her rampage towards her mother and the domestic helper. The mother and domestic helper are not strong enough to face such a hell spirit (ผีนรก). The domestic helper is killed. Sankap arrives too late with a doctor. The doctor is even thrown out of the window and dies. Vichan (Porjed Kaenpetch), Sankap’s friend, visits them and is surprised to find the house very quiet. He also sees the two corpses. He has difficulties to believe in ghosts until the spirit wakes up. Vichan suspects the guardian so he follows him up inside his hut. Oon suggests to call a shaman (หมอผี). The guardian is neither mute neither handicapped. Some zombies try to catch Vinchan. Meanwhile the spirit lies to Oon and convinces her to open the locked door. A fight happens between the spirit and Sankap. Despite cutting its arms and head, Sankap is overcome by the spirit. Sankap and Oon are killed. A purification fire started by Vichan burns the skeleton and wax effigies. Spirits are defeated. Vichan promises to take care of Kaew. Compared to other contemporary 1980s Thai horror movies, this movie doesn't have much comic relief despite Lor Tok and Note Chernyim acting, so it is more similar to western standards despite having simple Fx. It could be the Thai version of "The Exorcist"!

Chatree sees Nang Phanee bathing in a river (classical Thai movie scene with the Thai actress using a tight sarong [ผ้าถุง] and bathing in a stream). Nang Phanee is ภูติรักยั่วสวาท, i.e. a ghost, who still wishes to seduce men, The charm of Nang Phanee causes instant love from Chatree. The following day, Nang Phanee also seduces Itthi. Wan believes Chatree is becoming crazy (คนบ้า) as he is giving kisses to an invisible ghost. Nang Phanee enjoys playing tricks with Chatree and Itthi. Mon declares her love towards Chatree to Wan. The subdistrict headman's helpers try to abuse Wan (สาวกรุงเทพ) but Nang Phanee defeats them. The subdistrict headman's helpers are chased from his house. They contact a master (อาจารย์) (Lor Tok) to have him doing magic filters (ทำเสน่ห์ให้). He is half crazy. He is also contacted to remove infidelity from the body of sub-district headman's wife and the students. He needs to face Nang Phanee and chases her (ไล่ผี). But the master is in fact very smart. He chases another ghost and keeps Nang Phanee for him!!

Training with weapons, rifle, grenades occur (ทหารใหม่). As Chatree keeps trying to seduce Chatlalai, the doctor gives him a heavy laxative. The nurse’s father is playing by Sawin Sawangrat. Lor Tok warns Chatree that Sawin is off to the border for a few days. Chatree befriends with an uncle and he doesn't know that the uncle is Chatlalai’s father and military camp big boss! Chatlalai discovers that the doctor is already married so she is very disappointed and ends up at hospital. Chatree keeps visiting her and comforts her. Comic sequence when Note is visiting Pan to tease him but Rith is hiding under the blanket. Thai soldiers also protect citizen as they have issues with ruffians harassing a lady so fighting occurs. Lor Tok proposes that Chatree sings at the Thai Army day (วันกองทัพไทย) to apologize to Sawin. During the Thai Army day, parade and orchestra with Chatree singing are featured. Thai soldiers need to go to Burmese border. Tanks and troop transport vehicles are sent. This movie probably acted as a showroom for Thai army to show its capabilities in 1984. Rith dies during fighting. Having walked on a mine, he wanted his men to avoid being injured. Chatree is back from war, having arm and leg. He claims to be disabled (พิการ) to ensure Chatlalai has pity on this but he is lying. The movie ends up with Chatlalai chasing Chatree to kick him.

Plaew meets a movie director, who promises to make her as a star but he is just a liar. Another dorm lady proposes her to become a model (นางแบบ) first. The men are using periscope to spy ladies in their rooms (บุญตาของเรา). Plaew becomes close friend and even lover with another lady. As Plaew is alone, Choosri's son becomes close to Plaew as she feels lonely. When the lady finds that Plaew is now having a boyfriend, arguments occur (ไม่ธรรมชาติ). A new tenant called Jarunee arrives. It is a katoey so she is fired from the dorm. Two other ladies find one sponsor to pay for their rent. Chat is getting favors from one tenant as she is used to drugs (ขอยาเธอ). It ends up badly as she dies from overdose. Sing is arrested by the Thai Police as he was the one selling drugs to the ladies in the dorm. Despite being an average film, the movie highlights some challenges faced by Thai society in decade 1980s (drugs, upcountry women coming to Bangkok, homosexuality, mistress, prostitution...). Choosri decides to stop doing dorm business (ฉันไม่ทำแล้ว) as there are only problems to manage. New actresses include คนึงนิจ นฤมล and แข ลดา. The dorm owner (หอสาวแม่) forbids her girls to approach men (สตรีที่ดี). She raises some orphan girls (เลี้ยงเป็นลูก). Pipop Pupinyo is used as a bodyguard to prevent intruders in the dorm. Doctor Lor Tok opens a dorm for men (หอชาย) on the opposite side! Among Lor Tok’s disciples, there are veteran actors Doo Dook Kradon, Rong Kaomulkadee, Thuam Thoranong, Note Chernyim. The mother forces Pipop and another guard to take medicine to moderate their ardor (ไม่ไว้ใจ, อารมณ์เพศ). The young men take their revenge by giving to the mother a laxative so that they can be alone with the girls. On the following night, they even cut the water to force the girls to bathe in the swimming pool. Lor Tok tries to provide special medicine (ยาพลังเพศ) to convince Pipop to join them. The mother complains all men are dirty (ลามก). As a new male joins the dorm, the guys change their tactics and use the new handsome guy (รูปหล่อ) to seduce the mother (สุภาพ, แข็งแรง). He succeeds to be invited by the mother as an additional guard when the young ladies sunbathe (สาวอาบแดด). Basically the mother is doing the opposite she was teaching to her girls. They protest against their mother (อย่าทำผิดอีกเลย)! Lor Tok insults her as a mix of madonna (แม่พระ) and witch (แม่มด). Thep Thienchai, as a toilets cleaner, is also involved. Lor Tok is arrested by the police following complaints of Chosri Misommon. Finally the young men fall in love with the ladies. Lor Tok is released from prison and is back with two disciples (ลูกศิษย์) including Pao Porapak. As the two thugs plan to kidnap some girls, the young men intervene to catch them. The ladies dorm’s owner decides to remove the fence between the male and female dorms as she recognizes that women cannot live without men. Lor Tok is finally arrested again for selling porn videos. The movie ends up with sexy sequences showing what Lor Tok has secretly filmed. Those sequences present in the 35mm film have been removed from the VCD released by Happy Time. Note Chernyim only plays in a few sequences. There was disagreement on his salary for this movie so he was replaced by Doo Dook Kradon.

Thai movie พยัคฆ์ยี่เก was released in year 1983 and last 1h50mn. It was released under VHS format. A Hong Kong version, also released under VHS format, lasts 1h30mn. The movie is directed by Kom Akadej. Two Hong Kong actors are featured, i.e. David Chiang and Norman Chu. On the movie poster released in Hong Kong, they are of course shown preeminently. A Likay (Thai folk traditional theater) troupe led by teacher Pong (ครู) (Sor Asanajinda) performs in Sukhothai. The main Likay actor is played by Tuan Tong (Sorapong Chatree) and gets a lot of flowers offered especially by ladies including Piathip Kumwong, wife of the village leader (ผู้ใหญ่). It makes the village leader (Manop Aussawathep) to be very upset so he storms the Likay theater with his ruffians (Pipop Pupinyo, Panna Rittikrai and Somsak Chaisongkram) to fight with Tuan Tong as he cannot accept that his wife (แม่ตัวดี) spends money on a Likay handsome actor. Both end up at the police station but the police head (Kom Akadej) finally releases Tuan Tong as he did nothing wrong. Back to the Likay theater, Tuan Tong is beaten by ruffians. A local doctor, called Thongdee, always gives free health care to the Likay troupe. Chased again by the ruffians, Tuan Tong and Note Chernyim have to steal David Chiang's jeep to flee. David Chiang, Suriwan Suriyong and Supakorn Srisawat (ดี๋ ดอกมะดัน) are brothers and sisters. Getting back his jeep, David meets Chompoo, Tuan Tong's sister, (ชลิดา เสาวดี) so he even learns Likay skills as he is enamoured. Suriwan is expert in deltaplane. A jewellery money exchange turns badly between Manop and Sothon (โสธร รุ่งเรือง). Sothon is shot by Chat Mongkolchai but he succeeds to flee. He hides the jewellery inside the Likay theater. David is also looking for Sothon so it creates a misunderstanding between Tuan Tong and David. Sothon is killed by ruffians using a deltaplane shooting harpoons but they are still looking for the missed jewellery. They burnt the Likay theater as retaliation. Teacher Pong sells one diamond to rebuild the theater. He has hidden the real jewellery through the fake jewels used in Likay costumes. As Chat failed to capture Pong and is even shot by David, he is replaced by โดม สิงโมฬี. Ruffians storm the Likay theater again during a performance. Teacher Pong is shot by the ruffians with harpoons and killed. Chompoo is captured as she is wearing half of the real jewellery. The ruffians are led by Norman Chu, doctor Thongdee (ชาลี อินทรวิจิตร) and Rith Luecha. David and others Likay male actors (Note Chernyim...) are also captured. Tuan Tong and Suriwan storm the campment. Multiple fightings and shootings happen. Most of the protagonists die except Tuan Tong, Suriwan and his sister.

Leu (Sorapong Chatree) is a poor Tuk Tuk (สามล้อ) driver and has difficulties to find money to pay his son Tawan school fees. The headmaster (Sarinthip Siriwan) has limited understanding. One day fightings erupt with ruffians asking for protection fee to a Tuk Tuk driver. Leu and his friends (Panna Rittikrai, Note Chernyim) help. Leu hits violently Pipop Pupinyo. Yot (Manop Aussawathep) is head of ruffians. Kowit is a policeman but he cannot help that much. Wan (Thitima Sangkapitak) is owning a street restaurant, where Tuk Tuk drivers always eat. Tuk Tuk needs to pay a parking fee despite it is a public road. Leu is aggressed again while driving his Tuk Tuk so he is late at school to pick up his son. Teacher Panit (Suriwan Suriyong) sends his son back home. The teacher Panit complains on Leu not taking care enough of his son. Fighting erupts with ruffians looking for troubles with the teacher Panit but she has good fighting skills also. Panit is in fact the daughter of Yot. Ruffians fight again with the Tuk Tuk drivers as they refuse to pay extortion fee. They all end up in police station. Thanks to bad influence (อิทธิพล) of gangster Sia Boon Mak, ruffians are released first. The owner of Tuk Tuk cars pay finally for the release fee as the drivers are just renting the cars so they have no money. Leu is very late picking up his son so he meets the teacher again at his home. Sia Boon Mak (นักเลงใหญ่) forces Yot to work with him as he threatens his daughter. Brakes are damaged on Leu's Tuk Tuk as a warning. Tawan's mother, former teacher, died many years ago in a bus accident. Both Leu and Yot ended their studies at ป.4 level. Panit would like her father Yot to stop his dirty ways to do business (วิธีการสกปรก) by exploiting other poor people. Yot argues he had no choice as the society doesn’t give a lot of opportunity to succeed for people ending their studies at low level (ป.4). Following his daughter pressure and wishing to change his life, he agrees to stop. Meanwhile Sia Boon Mak’s ruffians cause Leu's Tuk Tuk to have an accident and his son dies. Leu promises to revenge and refuses to see Panit anymore. Panit proves him that her father is not involved in his son’s death. Yot is now on Leu's side. Leu fails to kill Sia Boon Mak but injures him. As revenge Yot is shot and killed. Wan is kidnapped and killed by Sia Boon Mak. It is too much and Leu assisted by Panit and an army of Tuk Tuk drivers storm Sia Boon Mak’s den. Police led by Kowit finally arrives. Leu doesn't perform self justice and lets police to arrest Sia Boon Mak. Justice will be performed but Leu has to lose his son for this justice to happen… Movie director is มนู วรรณายก. This movie was released in VHS format but never in VCD or DVD formats.
