Thai movie ว่าวน้อย, shot in year 1970, is a romantic comedy featuring Mitr Chaibancha and Chatchadaporn Laksanawed. The film is complete (2h20mn) but was never released in VCD as there is no dubbing script left. It is one of the last complete movies played by Mitr Chaibancha. Actress Chatchadaporn Laksanawed (ชัชฎาพร ลักษณาเวช) is a former Miss Thailand (นางสาวไทย). As it is a 16mm movie, the movie needs to be dubbed. As there is no dubbing script left, the movie is mute. Anucha loves secretly Chatchadaporn. Chatchadaporn is the daughter of a rich family. Mitr and Chatchadaporn know each other while playing kite. Argument between Mitr and Anucha happens as Mitr's kite causes Chatchadaporn's kite to fall. On the next day, kite playing continues and Mitr's kite causes Chatchadaporn to fall in a pond. Daonoi (ตลกตามนาง) and Sompong (ตลกตามพระ) are playing support role actors accompanying the main actor (Mitr) / main actress (Chatchadaporn). Old maiden Chosri Misommon tries to seduce Mitr through delicious dishes. During nighttime Mitr dreams about Chatchadaporn. Chatchadaporn's father (Op Boonthit) is the house owner where Mitr and Sompong live. As they have no money to pay the rent, they have to work as gardeners in Chatchadaporn’s house. Mitr is useless and is fired. While going back home, Mitr helps Chatchadaporn aggressed by three ruffians. She starts to appreciate Mitr. Mitr tries to see Chatchadaporn in her house and disguise himself as lion dancer but he is discovered by the father. Mitr and Chatchadaporn spend one night together. Finally their relationship is accepted as Mitr is a good young man. Mitr is also the son of a rich family. Mitr's mother accepts reluctantly the engagement. Mitr needs to go to countryside for business purpose. Chatchadaporn is pregnant. On the countryside a young lady is fond of Mitr but in fact she is sent by Mitr's mother in order to drunk him and take advantage of him at bedtime. Mitr's mother convinces her that Mitr will not marry her. Chatchadaporn’s father is sick. They have to sell their house. As her father dies, Chatchadaporn goes to Bangkok to find a job. Chatchadaporn ends up in jail after stabbing her employer trying to rape her. Anucha is now a policeman. Chatchadaporn gives her child to Anucha to ensure it can get a good future. Mitr’s mother, being sick, dies also. Before her death, she tells the truth about Chatchadaporn. So Mitr looks for her. Meanwhile with no goal in her life, Chatchadaporn tries to get suicide but a nun prevents to do so. Mitr finally finds her but she refuses to disrobe. Mitr then educates his daughter. Sompong Phonmitr (สมพงษ์ พงษ์มิตร) is the director and is also playing a comic role in his own movie.

Thai movie โทน / Tone is the first movie done by Piak Poster. It was released under VCD format by company XxX (Triple X). It features many Thai modern 1970s songs from ‘The Impossible’ group (วงดิอิมพอสซิเบิ้ล), some classical and traditional Thai songs, and even some American songs including ‘Scarborough Fair’ in Thai. The main characters are living in a provincial village, i.e. Pon (Chaiya Suriyun), Sang Thong (Songthong) and Nong Kulap (Jaruwan Panyopas). Sang is Pon's best friend following up everywhere. Pon loves Nong Kulap sincerely but Kulap sees him as a close friend only. She also needs to go to Bangkok to continue her studies, so they will be separated (ห่างกัน). Pon didn't do high studies and is living in a Buddhist temple with Luang Ta as a monk's attendant (ลูกศิษย์วัด). He was an orphan (เด็กกำพร้า). Ot (Sayan Chantaraviboon) is a Bangkokian young man visiting some relatives in the village. While having a drink, some ruffians (นักเลง) led by Amnat provoke him and a fight erupts. Pon is involved as he was just passing by and finally, he is helping Ot to get rid of the ruffians. The abbot wishes Pon to continue his studies in Bangkok. Ot proposes to help and Pon is now relocated in Bangkok. He meets Rut, Ot’s elder brother (Ruj Ronnapop) and Daeng (Aranya Namwong), Ot's modern young sister. Daeng hates (เกลียด) Pon immediately. It seems Kulap has forgotten Pon. Sang is having quarrels with ruffians, who shot him. Ot meets Kulap randomly in Bangkok. Ot loves Kulap but Pon is not aware that Kulap is now in Bangkok. Daeng's boyfriend Long (Sahat Piempongsan) is a ruffian trying to take advantage of her. Hopefully Pon sees the stratagem and helps her. He gets injured. Daeng starts to see Pon's kindness and now loves secretly Pon. It is Ot's birthday (วันเกิด). Kulap (แฟน) comes to his birthday. It is the first Thai movie showing the 1970 youth with modern Thai and English music, dances and mini dresses. Daeng understands that Pon still loves Kulap and suffers. After a discussion between Pon and Ot, Ot accepts it (ทำใจ) and takes care about Daeng. Love story starts. Long is still cross with Daeng and Pon. He kidnaps Daeng and Kulap. Pon, trying to help, is also captured. Ot is chasing them. Long wishes to sell the two ladies to his friend Amnat. They will work as forced prostitutes. Daeng and Pon fail to escape and Long rapes Daeng. Thanks to Ot, Long is neutralized and is shot by Daeng. Pon shots Amnat so avenging his friend Sang Thong. It is time to forget the bad past and look forward to the bright future. Piak Poster began as a painter of movie posters. He painted ‘Tone’ movie poster. Tone was Piak Poster’s first movie as director. The movie features seven songs. Songthong became famous thanks to the songs he performed in ‘Tone’ movie. It was the first movie in which the leading actress is raped. Thanks to the modern songs, ‘Tone’ movie reaped 6M Baht. It was the second biggest success in year 1970 after ‘Mon Rak Luuk Thung’ with Mitr / Petchara. It was also one of the first movie to use 35mm film instead of 16mm. ‘Tone’ movie was adapted two times for TV as a lakorn, i.e. in 1992 with Santisuk Promsiri and more recently in 2000s decade with Vinai Kraibutr and Metinee Kingpayome. Tone was the first movie in Thailand to break the monopoly of Mitr-Petchara movies. This movie is part of the first 25 films heritage list announced on October 4 2011, which is Thai Movies Conservation Day. The swimming suit worn by Aranya Namwong became a hit also as it shown the belly. All young ladies in year 1970 bought it. A promotional movie, lasting 17 minutes, shot in black and white, in 16mm format, can be seen online and is showing behind the screen sequences. The movie shooting was done over two years as Piak Poster liked perfection, details and used a lot of film. The film was developed in Japan and 11 copies travelled all over Thailand. It was two times more than usual.

Thai movie ม้ามืด was released in year 1970. The movie lasts 2h35mn. It is former 16mm format film featuring three songs in 35mm format. Robbers (โจร) are chasing a caravan driven by Kaew (Sawin Sawangrat). Kaew lets a lady called Raya (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit) to go down first with two young children. Sawin and Raya's husband die later as the caravan falls in a ravine causing a forest fire. During the fire, one of the children disappears (หลานสาว). Sai (Juree Osiri), the husband's mother, accuses Raya to be responsible of those deaths. Prachuap Ruekyamdee, one of the villagers, finally takes care of Raya and her remaining son. Years have passed. The son Chaichan is now an adult and played by Sombat Methanee. He is back from overseas and is supposed to marry but the fiancee Taem Duang changes her mind. He needs to find a solution to avoid his parents losing face (ขายหน้า) in front of the villagers. He helps Meut, a young girl, agressed by ruffians. As a reward for his help, he asks to marry her temporary. The district officer performing the wedding is played by Lor Tok. Keng (Orasa Isarangkul) is Meut (Petchara Chaowarat)'s friend. After the wedding, Meut flees with Keng. In a village, they meet a crazy man who looks like Kaew. They meet also Dokdin Kanyaman. In fact, Meut and Keng have come here to look for petrol. Meanwhile Taem Duang (Khomapat Attaya) and her mother Rasee (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) are gossiping (นินทา) on Chaichan as they believe he was a fake rich guy from countryside. Meut was in fact adopted by Rasee's old husband. Meut wishes to buy a plot of land belonging to Prachuap as it contains petrol. Once Prachuap knows Meut has married his son through a fake wedding, he refuses to sell the land anymore (เขตป่าไม้). Choomporn Theppitak is used by Rasee to perform dirty jobs. Knowing that Meut failed to buy the land, Rasee wants to use her daughter's charms towards Chaichan. Meut recalls from an old grandma that she was brought by her to a rich family when she was young. Chaichan try to stop ruffians led by Choomporn burning the forest (ไฟไม้ป่า). Kaew helps him but gets beaten on the head. His memory is back. Prachuap revels that Kaew is real father of Chaichan, his former associate. Father and son are back together. Bua, a local villager, is pushed by Choomporn and Rasee as granddaughter in order to get heritage but it fails. Finally Rasee, who ordered kidnapping of Meut, shows her real face and tries to force her older husband to transfer heritage to her. Meut and Chaichan stop her on time. It is revealed that Meut is Raya's lost daughter. Meut and Chaichan can now find happiness.

This movie is about a young man coming from a rich family. He loves singing and falls in love with a young woman coming from a poor family. The rich family tries to break this relationship. The original movie has some beautiful songs but the sound was altered due to aging. Unfortunately Lepso company just cut them instead of trying to put back the same song still available in record format.

วนาสวรรค์ is a Thai movie released in year 1970 and featuring main actors Sombat Methanee and Pissamai Wilaisak. Other actors are Surasit Sattayawong, Metta Roongrat, Sopha Sataporn, Chadaporn Wachirapranee. The movie cannot be found in any format in Thailand. Luckily two reels are still available in Thailand belonging to two collectors groups. The two reels are unfortunately not consecutive. Thanks to a group of former dubbers performing with 16mm movies, an old reel with small parts of lost films was found in year 2013. The first reel left is 23 minutes long. Katoua (Pissamai) is a mountain people (ชาวเขา). Metta Roongrat is acting as jealous lady. As Katoua has no more relatives, Sombat agrees to send Katoua to Bangkok bringing jealousy to Metta and disappointment to Sopha. Both of them love secretly Sombat also. Katoua goes first to Bangkok but Sombat stays behind. While in Bangkok, Pissamai gets hit by a ruffian and loses memory (ความจำเสื่อม). She cannot remember Sombat and has arguments with him. Back to the mountains, she cannot eat local food anymore. The first reel is in very good condition and still colorful. The second left reel is 28 minutes long. Sombat wants to see who is the young man called Somchai (สมชาย ศรีภูมิ) trying to date Sopha. Sombat seems to be an administration officer working in the forest. Katoua (สาวกรุงเทพ) falls from the stairs. It seems that Katoua was never really a mountain people but was sent in the North of Thailand by her father in order to be safe. Somchai and his men try to force in order to enter in the forest. Following a fist fight between Sombat and Somchai, they become friends. Sombat is following a ruffian who succeeds to escape a first time but finally this latter gets strangled by a big snake. The second reel is in poor condition. There is damaged picture with many lines but luckily it is still colorful. No movie summary is unfortunately left.

บ้านสาวโสด is a Thai movie released in year 1970. It features Kanchit Kwanpracha as main actor and Petchara Chaowarat as main actress. The movie was started with Mitr Chaibancha but it was incomplete due to his premature death. So the main actor was replaced by Kanchit. Another version with Toon Hiransap and Piyamas Monayakol was released in year 1984. In 1970 Mitr Chaibancha worked in many movies in parallel. So some movies still kept one or two sequences of Mitr at the beginning of the reel as additional advertisement for the movie. Around 1 hour 30 minutes is left to be seen. Three single ladies (Metta Roongrat, Prim Praphaporn, Juree Osiri) are living together. Petchara arrives in their home. She is doing chores. Their neighbour is Kanchit Kwanpracha. Other actors are Somkuan Krajangsat, Prachuap Ruekyamdee, Orasa Isarangkul, Adul Dulyarat, Sukon Koewliam, Lor Tok, Jomchai Jarintorn. Kanchit likes Petchara very much. Funny sequences happen on beach seaside between Sukon Koewliam and Prim Praphaporn. Misunderstanding keeps happening between Kanchit and Petchara as other ladies try to seduce Kanchit. It seems that Petchara will marry Prachuap as she is disappointed by Kanchit. Finally kidnappers enter in Petchara's home but they are chased away by Kanchit and captured by Adul Dulyarat and Orasa Isarangkul. Outside the home kidnappers are there again and threaten to shoot Kanchit. Petchara stand between Kanchit and the ruffians to prevent any shootings showing her real love towards Kanchit. In fact kidnappers are this time Adul and Osara playing this trick to force their reconciliation. Six songs are featured. There are still old still pictures showing Mitr playing movie บ้านสาวโสด and the movie poster is also showing his name.

Khomapat Attaya and her mother Sarinthip Siriwan are having arguments with Jub Jaeng. Sukon Koewliam and Chosri Misommon are playing comic roles a domestic helpers. Sombat tries to seduce Jub Jaeng. They finally become lovers. Khomapat and her mother denigrate Jub Jaeng towards Sombat. Khomapat pushes Aranya in the stairs. She ends up at hospital. Wilaiwan and Somkuan finally find Jub Jaeng. They finally get reunited thanks to Sompong Phonmitr. This movie features sequence shot in famous Daimaru former shopping mall. Prachuap has a leg injury and is visited by twin ladies (real singers อารยา ปาริชาติ ฉายาลักษณ์). Finally the parents let Jub Jaeng go with Sombat. Khomapat and her mum are upset about the gifts bought by Sombat to Jub Jaeng. Sombat tries to end the dispute with Khomapat but it ends up badly. While walking on the beach, he gets stabbed by ruffians. Khomapat gets also aggressed by ruffians on the beach. Khomapat tries to hit Jub Jaeng again but she fights back and finally decides to quit this crazy house. Prachuap and Sombat finally understand Khomapat’s bad games. Sombat rushes after Jub Jaeng and they finally reconcile.

Thai movie กำแพงเงินตรา was released in year 1970. The movie lasts 1h40mn. Prachuap Ruekyamdee is bringing Yong (Mitr Chaibancha) on a boat. Yong meets Nam Pheung (Petchara Chaowarat) and Sarai (มิสฮันหวา), daughters of subdistrict headman (กำนัน) Lor Tok. Yong is interested in Sarai but Nam Pheung doesn't trust him. Sompong Phonmitr, subdistrict headman's domestic helper, also dislikes Yong. Nam Pat, subdistrict headman's wife, is aggressed while meeting her lover Phi Bun, who is killed. Subdistrict headman Lor Tok is aware his wife was having a lover but forgives her. A new chief district officer (นายอำเภอคนใหม่) called Tamanoon (Adul Dulyarat) visits subdistrict headman's house. He is widowed with three kids. Yong and Sarai love each other but Nam Pheung (เด็กบ้า) tries to break their relationship and wishes to push Sarai toward the new chief district officer by using Prachuap to write false letters. Aunt Chan (Somjit Sapsamruey) has debts towards the subdistrict headman so Yong, being her nephew, repays the debt by working in their house. Yong is a music teacher. Yong helps Tamanoon aggressed by ruffians. Tamanoon asks for Sarai's hand so Yong decides to flee with Sarai. Mae Pat wishes to join them to be Sarai's domestic helper. Nam Pheung hears them and informs Tamanoon. During a celebration organised by the subdistrict headman, they wish to flee but Nam Pheung brings mess again and foils their plan. So finally Yong ends up kidnapping Nam Pheung. Upset, Yong forces Nam Pheung. But then Yong regrets his act and takes good care of her as she is sick. Choomporn Theppitak is his close friend. At nighttime Nam Pheung tries to flee and is aggressed by ruffians. Yong helps on time but is seriously beaten. Nam Pheung understands he is a nice guy. Yong accepts to bring back Nam Pheung to his father and to face whatever her father, a subdistrict headman, will do to him. Probably shoot him dead! Tamanoon wishes to help and prepares a plan in secret. While the father is unable to decide who to punish, his daughter or Yong, Adinan Singhiran attacks the father per Tamanoon’s plan. Yong, unware of the plan, protects the subdistrict headman and gets slightly injured. The subdistrict headman seeing that Yong is brave and good man forgives to him and allows the wedding. Yong and Nam Pheung can marry happily. The DVD picture is really beautiful. Toh Phanmitr (คุณโต๊ะพันธมิตร) has done a great job by restoring this movie and releasing it.

Pim (Prim Praphaporn) and Taeng (Petchara Chaowarat) take refuge in their home as rain is falling hard. Pim and Taeng are looking for lost relatives so Lit promises to help them. Policeman Sukon Koewliam and Kokheng are visiting Lit as he needs to pay back some debts. Sukhon threatens to send him to jail. Taeng helps Lit by offering her pearl necklace in order to soothe the usurer. Op Boonthit and Somkuan Krajangsat (พ่ออ้วน) complain Wan likes to go out often. Wan and Noi (Daonoi Duangjai) meet Lit and his two friends to discuss business. Lit visits Op and Somkuan's house. Lit borrows some money as he is opening a business. Wan gives money to Lit and his friends for them to be quiet. Two songs are then featured in the nightclub area. Lit is forbidding his former girlfriend Sophee to dance with Choomporn Theppitak in a nightclub. Chom (Khomapat Attaya) is also present. Lit finally punches Choomporn. Another love song is sung by Khomapat Attaya. Ling declares her love to Lit but Lit only considers her as a younger sister (น้องสาว). Op asks Lit to find his lost daughter. Lit needs to get back the pearl necklace also as Op mentions his lost daughter had such necklace. So he needs to verify if Taeng is the lost daughter or not. Chom is helping by giving money to Lit. Lit buys the necklace back from the Chinese usurier Kokheng. Finally Taeng is reunited with her family thanks to Lit. Later on, Taeng visits Lit in his house. Taeng is then singing with Lit in his house. Thanks to a sign on his chest, Lit is also identified as the lost son of Somkuan. The movie can end up happily. A movie with same name was released in year 1984 but the story is different.

Ratom is a young Thai lady living in Hong Kong. Buakam, Ratom's friend, sings songs in a bar frequented by US sailors. Ratom has to replace Buakam as she is leaving to Laos. Ratom is waiting for her father at the Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong. He has disappeared for 10 years. He (เจ้าพ่อ) comes back with a young new wife (แม่ใหม่). His father visits her in Hong Kong and they go to visit seaside. Robbers including a young man called Lak (Sombat Methanee) steal their belongings. Ratom sympathizes with Lak as both of them have a sad life. Lak can sing well and protects her against the other bad ruffians. Her mother kills herself due her treacherous husband so Ratom has to sing again in bars. This movie shows old Hong Kong with Kwun Tung police station, rickshaws, old double decker buses, chinese dresses cheongsam, Aberdeen. Her father is not happy that she stays with Lak so he brings her to Laos. Lak decides to follow her. This movie features numerous songs including molam and foreign songs. The movie mixes romance and action. Lak has to rescue her from a camp located in the jungle. The father and soldiers chase them. There is some inconsistency as from Laos, they can reach rapidly the sea! The father succeeds to catch Lak but the soldiers decide to kill both Lak and the father. Finally they can all escape and love between Ratom and Lak can finally become true.

Thai movie แม่ปิง was released in year 1970 and lasts 2h25mn. The original film is certainly longer as some parts are missing in the VCD released by Lepso. A remake called "มายาพิศวาส" was done in year 1983 with Jarunee Sooksawad. Aranya Namwong plays two roles, i.e. mother Ubon and her daughter Dokbua. The father is sick (กรรม) and invalid. Dokbua wishes to revenge her family. Dokbua simulates a car accident to get attention of Chala (Sombat Methanee). She claims coming from poor province (คนบ้านนอก) and was attracted by a false job offer in Bangkok. Chala and his brother Chet (Sawin Sawangrat) are part of a rich family. Both love Dokbua at first sight. Dokbua is hired as domestic helper in the house. Chet's father, khun Chun, is paralysed. Paen (Chadaporn Wachirapranee) is khun Chun’s wife but also Chet's mistress! Chet wishes Dokbua to become his secretary. Chala spends a lot of money and is often described as lost soul (เสียชาติ) as he always borrows money from his father and his brother. Chet tries to abuse Dokbua but she refuses. The father also tries to abuse her but it fails. Chatchai (Kanchit Kwanpracha) has interest in her despite he has already a fiancee called Chaleng (สุมาลี ทองหล่อ), Chala’s sister. He doesn't love his fiancee as the engagement was set up by parents and not based on real love. Another domestic helper warns Dokbua about rich people being insincere (ไม่จริงใจ). Chatchai's father, Tawat (Siripong Isarangkul), has interest into Dokbua also. Paen is trying to sell Dokbua to him. Chet tries his luck with Dokbua at night time (ต้องการเธอ) but it fails again. Chala is aware Dokbua has a hidden plan but he cannot identify it. Tawat still wants Dokbua as wife. Dokbua accepts so causing Chala's ire and treating her as นางบำเรอ. Tawat has six wives already. Dokbua accepts in order to become a countess (คุณหญิง). Chala still wonders the hidden plan of Dokbua. The father khun Chun’s names Dokbua as head of the company (ล้างบาปก่อนที่จะตาย). After his death, Dokbua is given the whole heritage as he knew she is the daughter of his former enemy. Khun Chun is responsible of Dokbua’s father paralysis. Other family members are shocked. Chala is shocked by Dokbua's cynicism and forces her to kiss him. Chatchai, seeing the scene, threatens to tell the truth to his father, if she refuses to become his mistress. Thatchai does not have interest in Chaleng anymore as she is now poor so she keeps indulging in alcohol. Chet tries to seduce Dokbua (หลงเสน่ห์) again causing Paen to be upset. He wishes to marry with Dokbua as she is beautiful and rich. He rejects Paen so she shots Chet with a gun and is arrested by the Police. She has become crazy. Dokbua didn’t think her revenge will go that far… She gives back the whole heritage to Chala. Love finally emerges between both.

แม่ย่านาง is a 1970 movie in VCD format featuring a still colorful picture and lasting 1h54mn. An additional 30mn reel (the reel number 2) is available through a Thai collector. Young lady Prang (Sopha Sataporn) is waiting for Jiaw (เด็กวัด) to give alms (ตักบาตร) to the monks but he doesn't come today. Jiaw (Mitr Chaibancha) is a temple boy with a kind heart (ใจบุญ) so seeing Jom and his friends trying to steal money donated to the temple, he tries to prevent them to rob money to buy alcohol. Unfortunately he gets accused by Jom so the abbot believes he is the robber. Jiaw is chased from the temple. He decides to sell food (ขายของ) with his two friends by navigating on a boat on river and canals. A mysterious spirit Mae Ya Nang (ผีหลอก) (Pissamai Wilaisak) on the boat bow helps them to get business. Jae (Kaenjai Meenakanit), a shop vendor, likes Jiaw a lot but he is not interested. Sithao Petcharoen has issues with his wife as she doesn’t accept he has mistresses. Prang is seen as a young sister (น้องสาว) only by Jiaw. Jiaw seems to love his boat more than anything else despite strong interest from Jae and Prang. Jae is under a charm (ถูกเสน่ห์). A local villager has recruited a black magician (Lor Tok)(หมอผี) to make a love philter to seduce Jae. As uncle Man (พฤหัส บุญหลง - Preuhat Boonlong) breaks the spell, the black magician tries to kill uncle Man. As it fails, he sends Jom and his team protected by magic tattoos. Once again the spirit Mae Ya Nang (แม่ย่านางเรือ) protects Jiaw. In a previous life, the mysterious lady and Jiaw knew each other. The mysterious lady was a princess (ลูกหญิง). As the King's boat (พระองค์) was attacked by pirates, the King ordered Jiaw to take away the princess and to protect her. Jom, who was the head of soldiers, was treacherous to his King and killed him. Sor Asanajinda is the father of Jom. Before dying, Jiaw's friend succeeded to reach him and told the truth about Jom. Spade fighting happened between Jom and Jiaw. Jiaw won and Jom died (ทรยศ). The princess didn't trust the uncle Sor and asked Jiaw to organise their escape. Jiaw was split between his love to the princess and the love to the kingdom. The uncle Sor asked him to leave to preserve the princess. As he finally refused, he was killed by a guard. Knowing his death, the princess got suicide. Back to the present, the black magician sends Jom to kill Jiaw and the uncle Man. Prang and Jae are kidnapped by the black magician (อาจารย์). Jiaw shall avoid any bad actions (จ้องเวร จ้องกรรม) to hope being reunited with the princess one day. Jom kills the black magician as he made a love philter for himself to seduce Jae and Prang instead of doing it for Jom. Through a final fight with Jom, Jiaw is killed while protecting the abbot (in fact the king in a previous life) with his own body. Jiaw failed to protect the King in his previous life but in this life, he saves the monk. Jiaw and the princess are reunited in heaven. The 1h54mn movie is really great but the additional 30mn reel reveals additional details of the movie: Jae is upset that Jiaw prefers to sleep on the boat than with her. Jiaw helps to prevent a kidnapping of Jae. Sithao suggests Jom to visit the black magician to get spells. He is a bad guy always trying to abuse for his own purpose people asking for love philter. Through a sexy scene with an unknown veteran actress, the black magician makes a love philtre to seduce her instead of doing one for her to seduce back her husband Sithao. It is highly probable that this scene would have been cut on any VCD release. Seeing the power of love filters, they recommend the black magician to the villager trying to seduce Jae. As old movies were long, each actor / actress always had the opportunity to have his own long scene to please his fans. It is also very frequent to see Thai people onlookers in outdoor scenes such as market. It was additional potential customers to come watching in cinema to see if they were in the movie! The original movie features 5 songs but the DVD only features 1 song.

This folk-music movie is one of the most famous Thai movie. It run during six months in Bangkok and generated more than 7 millions baht revenue. It features 14 folk or "LUUK THUNG" (ลูกทุ่ง) songs. It is about a love story between a poor farmer and a young woman coming from a richer family. Movie fans from Nakhon Pathom, Ayuthaya and Singburi have been hiring at least two buses a day to take them and from the theatre in Bangkok. It was a winning combination of the most Thai popular film stars and folk songs of the time. "Mon Rak Luuk Thung" (มนต์รักลูกทุ่ง) has been adapted in many other movies versions (1982, 2004) and TV series (ละครรีเมค) (1995 CH7 with Saranyu Wongkrachang, 2005 CH7, 2010 CH3 with Jintara Sookkapat as the mother and Santisuk Promsiri as the local mafia head). This movie is part of the first 25 films heritage list announced on October 4 2011, which is Thai Movies Conservation Day.

They prepare to rob a house. They discuss with the owner. A kid is following them. The owner's three daughters bring food. The ruffians kidnap them. A handcuffed simple-minded tries to stop the ruffians but gets beaten also. Pawana arrives and is informed about the kidnapping. Being upset, she decides to act herself. Choomporn is part of ruffians' team. Sombat is storming the ruffians' house. He is fighting with fist and then with gun. The last scene shows Petchara, Pawana and two Sombat!! The original movie included 14 songs in 35mm format.

During a storm, Charika has a vision, i.e. she sees a hirsute man entering in her room. The following day, Charika meets Turatee (Chaiya Suriyun) and believes the hirsute man and he are the same person (Chaiya Suriyun plays both roles). At nighttime, the hirsute man enters in the grandmother’s room to steal a map. The hirsute man is recognized as Khun Phuchai, who died many years ago. The island superintendent Durong (Surasit Satayawong) and his mistress, the governess, are worried as it could be the map leading to the pirates’ treasure of Plao island. The next day, crazy Ruj harass again Chosri and Charika. The governess scolds and beats again but it turns badly as Ruj cuts the governess head! During this messy situation, Charika loses conscience and disappears carried by the hirsute man. Durong is hoping to find a secret pirates' treasure (สมบัติ). He has also a relationship with Khun Phujing. Willing to know what is really happening on Plao island, Chaiya and Lek try to reach the island by boat. The superintendent, a few tough men, Chosri and Khun Phujing follow them by boat also. Both boats capsize but they can all avoid the sharks. Stranded on Plao island, the superintendent is trying to locate the treasure and to catch Turatee, Lek’s fiance, and Lek. Durong believes Turatee has the treasure map. An old man Tao is helping Turatee about to be killed. Charika wakes up in a cave with the hirsute man. The hirsute man is Khun Phuying’s younger brother, who is still alive. He mentions that Durong killed all nurses. He knows about the pirates' gold hidden in the cave. italian actor. Durong tries to abuse Khun Lek but is injured by Khun Phujing. Durong then shoots and kills Khun Phujing. Tao leads Durong and his men to the treasure. The masked vigilante crimefighter, called Red Eagle is back with Mitr Chaibancha playing the leading role. In this movie several influential people are mysteriously killed when they receive a red ceramic Buddha statue. They died of sudden fear. Somebody is also using Red Eagle identity to commit murders so the hero changes his mask to gold and becomes Golden Eagle. The mysterious organisation wishes to take over Thai government. Golden Eagle is investigating against this mysterious organisation in parallel of the Thai police. Trained in psychic powers by Rasputin, the head of the mysterious organisation kills by beaming his thoughts and visage through red ceramic Buddha statues. He can split himself into three images and can hypnotize remotely. He even put his heart out of his body into a vessel for protection. It is the first movie directed by Mitr Chaibancha. It is also the last movie in which Mitr Chaibancha played. Mitr died after falling from a rope ladder that was dangling from a helicopter. He was only 36 years old. Many Thai theaters paid respect to Mitr Chaibancha before showing "Golden Eagle" movie by placing a Pepsi bottle in front of a picture of the Thai actor. It was said that Mitr Chaibancha liked Pepsi. 40 copies were done for "Golden Eagle" movie as it was the last movie of Mitr Chaibancha. Normally only a few copies were done per movie.

Thai movie กายทิพย์ was released in year 1970. The movie lasts 2h30mn but only 1h00 is left to be seen. Jaomanat (Sarinthip Siriwan) is Atibadi’s domestic helper. Jaomanat has two sons Phayoton (Sombat Methanee) and Pontet (Prachuap Ruekyamdee), playing a gay character (กะเทย). Atibadi (Chana Sriubon) has two daughters Romadee (Aranya Namwong) and Deuan Rung (Sopha Sataporn). Atibadi’s wife (Wilaiwan Watthanaphanit), called Nimnuan, is dead already but her soul (วิญญาณ) has possessed Jaomanat. Three house spirits (ศาลพระภูมิเจ้าที่) are also involved. Two of them are played by Sukon Koewliam and Sithao Petcharoen. Krai Kanchit, a hairdresser, gets warned by Phayoton not to disturb Jaomanat anymore. Fighting in slum(สลัม) happens between Phayoton and Krai. Krai is defeated. Sawin Sawangrat comes later with more men to beat Phayoton but the three house spirits help him. สุมาลี ทองหล่อ, mother of Khomapat Attaya, wishes to grab Atibadi. Finally Atibadi takes Sumalee as his new wife. During the wedding party, Khomapat comes with Ruj Ronnapop but Khomapat has more interest in Phayoton. Sompong Phonmitr is playing a หมอทำเสน่ห์. Sumalee and Sawin visit the magician at the same time but they get teased again by the spirits. Krai comes at that time and meets Sumalee. They become lovers. Sumalee and Atibadi spend their honeymoon in Pattaya. Deuan Rung likes Phayoton but this one manages to have his brother Pontet taking care of her so that he can be with Romadee. Meanwhile Krai has seduced also Khomapat so causing Sumalee's ire. She sends Pan Borapet and Sawin to teach (สังสอน) Krai but they kill him. Upset, she also kills Pan Borapet and Sawin. Sumalee is feeling sad (น้อยใจ). Op Boonthit identifies that Nimnuan’s sould (วิญญาณ) is inside Jaomanat. A proper ceremony needs to be done. Sumalee wishes to interrupt it. Monks need to be brought. While the soul is about to exit, Sumalee prevents the holy water to be poured. She is struck by a lighting and dies. Ruj is ravaged. Finally Jaomanat can fully recover.

Tanoi (Sombat Methanee) is a prince (ฟ้าชาย) living in a small kingdom at the Thai border. Some insurgents try to kill him. It is a putsch handled by Saenfa (Man Teeraphol). Tanoi has to flee by helicopter. Metta (Metta Roongrat), Koi (Petchara Chaowarat) and Tua (Dokdin Kanyaman) are three friends always together. As usual Metta and Dokdin are playing supporting roles (ตัวประกอบ) so bringing additional fun. The helicopter crashes but Tanoi has time to escape. Tua catches him in his fish net. Tanoi, despite being mistaken as a thief, finally becomes friend with Koi, Tua and Metta. A romance starts between Koi and Tanoi. Tanoi doesn't disclose his royal origin and is happy to stay in remote village (บ้านป้า). Yanee (Jomchai Jarintorn) through Choomporn (Choomporn Theppitak) wishes to buy Koi's land. Fond of Tanoi, she wishes to hire him but he refuses. Tanoi finally succeeds to contact his army thanks to the radio left in the helicopter. Choomporn is hired by Saenfa's team to catch Tanoi. The village becomes too dangerous for Tanoi so he leaves for Bangkok. Yanee and Koi have different mothers but same father, ie Sawin (Sawin Sawangrat). Yanee expulses Koi from her land. Koi, Tua and Metta go to Bangkok to live in the father's house but they are chased away by Chadaporn Wachirapranee. Aran (Adul Dulyarat) is protecting Tanoi. Per his advice, Tanoi has to wear a moustache and ignore his old friends to avoid any risk being identified by Saenfa. Koi, Tua and Metta identify him in a restaurant terrace but are disappointed when Tanoi claims he doesn't know them. Koi and his friends are sheltered by a nice lady, who in fact Tanoi's mother! Sawin makes alliance with Saenfa. Tanoi shall be captured or killed. During a dinner between Tanoi and Aran, Koi and his friends disguise to know more about Tanoi. Ruffians try to kill him. Yanee just puts sleeping medicine instead of poison as she loves secretly Tanoi. So Koi and his friends can rescue Tanoi on time. Yukol, Tanoi's younger brother, also loves Koi. In Mae Sai, Pa discloses to Koi that Tanoi is her son. Meanwhile Tanoi tries to regain power. Sawin is killed. Despite strong resistance, Saenfa's soldiers are defeated. Finally Tanoi marries Koi after a last minute suspense and misunderstanding as she believes she is not high ranking enough for a prince. The DVD is based on different sets of movie reels. The 16mm part is in very good condition and is still colorful. The movie features a few songs recorded in 35mm format but the damaged image is in red color only. But it is still original songs despite some cracking in the sound. Two movies were released by Dokdin Kanyaman, ie ไทยใหญ่ in 1970 and ไทยน้อย in 1969. For movie ไทยใหญ่ featuring Sombat Methanee hanging to a rope attached to a helicopter, extra precaution were taken to avoid same tragic accident as Mitr Chaibancha. Ruffians flee in the mountain but Jainum follows them up in order to release Sarinee. The remaining left sequence is certainly happening in the middle of the film. Various scenes can be seen. Choomporn Theppitak is talking on a bed to a lady. Choomporn is a singer in a high end club. Sithao Petcharoen, Sukon Koewliam and two other men try to enter at nighttime in a women's dormitory. They are discovered, beaten and chased away by Prim Praphaporn. Aranya Namwong is meeting Adinan Singhiran in the countryside. He is giving her a letter. She is missing Sombat Methanee. Pleung (Luechai Natnat) arrives in the city and ends up in Sithao's bar. A new ruffian Fai (มือดี)(เพชร พิษณุ) arrives in Saen's team. Kan declares his love to Achan. Ruj Ronnapop (ขายยา) warns Kan about the new hitman. Kan bewares of Fai and Pleung despite Ruj confirms Fai is finally on their side. Fai is Pleung’s younger brother. Fighting happens between Kan, Ruj, Pleung and Saen's men in Sithao's bar. Police has to intervene. Saen wishes to hire Pleung. While simulating being a movie dubber, Ruj finds weapons hidden in wooden crates. He meets Kalog (Sasithorn Phetrung). Kan sends a grenade to destroy the weapons stock as Saen plans to hurt Thailand. Police inspector Krai comes to arrest Saen but another teammate pretends the weapons belong to him. Achan warns Kalog, younger sister of Kan, about Saen's activities. Kalog succumbs to Ruj. Robbery of a house is failing, and a few ruffians are killed. Saen suspects Kalog is the one disclosing his activities schedule to Kan. Her mother tries to intervene but she is killed. Achan discloses that she is the one warning Kan. Saen and his men storm Sithao's bar. Kan is knocked out. As Saen cannot shoot a man sleeping, he closes his eyes before firing. Dokmai interposes and she is the one being shot. Upset, Saen defies Kan and his friends as he kidnapped the three ladies. Saen, Fai and Ruj go to release them but they have to surrender. It is disclosed that Kan is new chief district and both Fai and Rj being undercover policemen. Caretaker Sukon Koewliam is ordered to prepare three coffins. Kan and his friends have to prepare their own graves (ฝังตัวเอง). Sithao helps to release the ladies and gives them guns. Sukon bring back coffins containing policemen. Shooting happens between policemen and ruffians. Saen finally causes his stock of dynamite to explode as his cigar falls on it. Pleung character played by Luechai Natnat disappears after a while during the movie. It is said it was killed. Maybe there was a conflict between Luechai Natnat and the producer / director so the character Pleung has to be removed.

Thai movie 7 สิงห์คืนถิ่น was released in year 1970. Saeng Rawee (แสงระวี)(Metta Roongrat), young lady, just weds with Sing's father but she still tries to seduce the son Sing (สิงห์) (Mitr Chaibancha). The father blames his son (ลูกอกตัญญู) and decides to break the relationship with him (เลิกเป็นลูกพ่อกัน). Saeng Rawee has another lover called Kam Maen (คำแมน), who is the local ruffians leader (ดินแดนอิทธิพล). Seua (เสือ)(สมชาย ศรีภูมิ) is Sing's younger brother and becomes a bad guy under Kam Maen's guidance. Finally the father dies and legates everything to Sing. Saeng Rawee and Kam Maen try everything to destroy the testament (พินัยกรรม). Ruffians ask for the testament from doctor Phan. As he fights back he is shot dead and his wife is kidnapped. Phum Reun (ภุมริน), a friend, informs Sing regarding the latest news regarding his father's death, the doctor death and his young brother becoming a bad guy (โจร). Doctor (หมอ) Phan was his friend so Sing needs to go home to investigate who killed him. Sing gathers 7 friends to fight back against Kam Maen. One of them is Dokrak (ดอกรัก)(Choomporn Theppitak). Doktoi (ดอกเตย), owner of a local bar, recruits Dokrak, good singer, as he protects her versus ruffians led by Chanee Yotchai. Doktoi is Kam Maen's minor wife but there is no real love so she provides useful information to Dokrak. Sing and his friends prepare a plan. Seua, Sing's young brother, drinks heavily. Sing wants to bring him back to the right path (สายเลือดเดียวกัน). The two brothers fight as Sing doesn't want his brother Seua to become a bad guy. Ruffians would like to get the whole money so push the two brothers against each other. Sing meets Thaephee (Petchara Chaowara), who is a teacher inside the village. Sing's team eliminates one ruffians team. But Sing is then kidnapped. Seua plans to help his brother by exchanging Sing versus Kam Maen's daughter Vick. Kam Maen sells weapons and bombs to reds insurrection in order to use for rebellion against Thai government. He is a traitor (ขายชาติ). Kam Maen needs the testament to get more money to buy weapons. He tortures Sing to know the truth. Thae Phee is ready to everything (ยอมเป็นเมีย) to avoid Sing to become blind. But hopefully his friends can help and free him. The movie finishes with various shootings in which Sing's friends die, Seua dies and Sarawee dies by saving Sing's life against Kam Maen. Villagers are fighting against the traitors and the Thai flag is shown as the final image. The reds menace was present during decade 1960s in Northeastern region of Thailand. So such films were part of governmental propaganda. The movie is more than 2 hours and 20 minutes long. Some parts of the movie are missing and have been cut. Either they were in bad condition or Lepso Studio has to cut the movie to fit into a limited VCD format. There is no more original soundtrack as it is a 16mm movie. It is too bad as original songs are lost. Movie colors are wiped out.

Sing Sao Seua or สิงห์สาวเสือ is a Thai movie released in year 1970. There are seven songs in the movie. Only 4 minutes is left. When learning that his father has been killed, Chatchai quits the police and goes back to his home district, Wang Phan, to investigate on his father’s death. Patama (Aranya Namwong) is the owner of Wang Phan market. Aranya is using Seuahan to do the internal police in the market as many thugs are around. Sombat and Seuahan become friends. The ruffian leader responsible of his father’s death is Sia Bu (เสี่ยบู๊). Sia Bu wants to have Patama as his wife. As she refuses, the ruffians kill the forest guard. Chatchai takes over his duty. Sia Bu asks Chatchai to stop messing around but he refuses. While Chatchai and Patama are singing their love in the garden, one Sia Bu's ruffian shots Chatchai and kidnaps Patama. Hopefully Seuahan rescues Patama. While Chatchai is recovering at the hospital, things get worse with the market being burnt and Patama kidnapped by Sia Bu. Time for Chatchai to revenge his father and rescue his lovely Patama!

Sombat (Sombat Methanee) is visiting a police station to inform them about his friends kidnapping. Adul Dulyarat is police leader. Taksin (Taksin Jampol) and Wassana (Wassana Chalakorn) have kidnapped Petchara (Petchara Chaowarat) and Prachuap (Prachuap Ruekyamdee). Police is surrounding the ruffians. Police cannot attack as they have hostages. Shootings start and Sombat helps to release them. Taksin and Wassana try to flee. Adul is injured. Wassana is shot by Taksin as she tries to flee on her own. Petchara gives comfort to Adul as he is injured but her heart is split between Sombat and Adul. Taksin comes back for revenge. Following an ultimate fight with Sombat, he falls and dies in a hot spring water. Charin Nantanakorn produced and directed the movie. During a final engagement, Petchara shall choose between Adul or Sombat.

Thai Chinese movie อัศวินดาบกายสิทธิ์ - 飛俠神刀 - "Flyer and Magic Sword" lasts 1h20mn and was released in year 1970. It was released under 35mm, VHS, VCD and DVD format. It was shot in Hong Kong. It was the first international movie in which Mitr Chaibancha took part. Two versions of the movie were shot, one with Hong Kong Chinese star (กว่าง หลิน / Ling Fan) as the leading actress for the international version and one with Petchara Chaowarat as leading actress for the Thai version. As Mitr Chaibancha died in an accident in 1970, an actor from Chaiyaphum province called Chat Chaiyaphum (ชาติ ชัยภูมิ) was used in order to finish the movie. Mitr also started playing in another Chinese movie จอมดาบพิชัยยุทธ (1971) but was replaced by another actor called Luechai Natnat (ลือชัย นฤนาท). The movie includes flying acrobatic fights shot in Hong Kong's Sai Kung country park. The DVD/VCD includes the Hong Kong version featuring Ling Fan as main actress. The DVD/VCD also includes 52 minutes of old damaged footage with Thai actress Petchara Chaowarat playing Lan Choo. This movie is also known under the name "อภินิหารดาบทองคำ" or “Hooded Swordsman”. Lan Choo, her father and his guards are attacked in their home by a group of armed men led by another clan. Wai Ching (Mitr Chaibancha) saves Lan Choo (คู่รัก). She leaves upset as Wai Ching is still angry against her father. She then meets a mysterious man expert in blade, Phi Lun, who declares his love to her. The two clans are fighting over a salt mine. Lan Choo's father stole the salt mine from Wai Ching's father. He has issues with Phi Lun, the mysterious expert in blade, so the two clans decide to support each other. Lan Choo's father expects help from Wai Ching by promising a wedding with his daughter but Wai Ching refuses as he cannot forget the past. Lan Choo's father killed Wai Ching's father. Phi Lun is half crazy and a rivality emerges with Wai Ching as they both love Lan Choo. Phi Lun has become crazy (คนบ้าฆ่าคน) as his mother was raped and killed in front of him. Phi Lun kills people that Wai Ching loves. So Wai Ching chases Phi Lun for a fight. Wai Ching has special skills such as flying jumps. Phi Lun is using small blades behaving like boomerang. Wai Ching is defeated but Phi Lun spares his life this time. Wai Ching uses a stratagem to defeat Phi Lun through a revenge fight. Phi Lun is left as dead. Then the two clans make alliance against Wai Ching. Wai Ching is welcomed by the father, who organises a big feast. This is a trap and Wai Ching is captured. Phi Lun, who didn't die yet, helps Wai Ching to escape. Phi Lun helps as he wishes to kill Wai Ching by himself. Finally Wai Ching defeats Phi Lun again. Seeing Wai Ching being weaker due to the fighting with Phi Lun, the father is about to kill him but Phi Lun saves his life for a last time. Wai Ching flees thanks to Lan Choo and the two clans kill each other to get the salt mine. In year 1992, there was discussion to project the Thai version in Ambassador theater (แอมบาสเดอร์). It didn't happen as the film was incomplete. Finally อัศวินดาบกายสิทธิ์ movie was released a second time in year 1998. It was released in theater by movie director Khun To Pantamit as an homage for Mitr Chaibancha birthday. Khun To Pantamit ordered a new copy of the 35mm film from Hong Kong and had it dubbed in Thai language. Thanks to his later release, the movie is still available in HD colorful version. If it was the original 1970 film, the 35mm film would be red already and damaged similar to the Thai release. It was shown in theater เฉลิมกรุง 20 times. It was also released nationwide in Thailand.

Devilish killer can defeat 15 men in a single combat thanks to his iron hands, strong kick and powerful nine ring golden blade. He requests a thunderbolt sword to a clan leader. The clan leader refuses as it is the Clan sacred sword. He sends his two sons Chi Wen (Chaiya Suriyun) and Chi Wu away with the sword. The devilish killer defeats the clan leader and its men. He is now looking after Chi Wen and Chi Wu. Chi Wen is also defeated but the godly beggar helps him to escape death and to flee. Chi Wu is also defeated but gets help from a mysterious blind fighter. Chi Wen is taught by the godly beggar how to better fight. He helps princess Ju Yen (Petchara Chaowarat) attacked by two ruffians. Love emerges between both of them. Her father has promised her to devilish killer. Aware of Chi Wen, the father makes him pass difficult but successful tests. He finally drugs him, disfigured him and throws him from a cliff. Chi Wen refuses to see Ju Yen again as he feels ashamed to be disfigured. Meanwhile Chi Wu meets a young lady miss Chow selling flowers in a temple. She is skilled in sword handling. Following altercation with ruffians, Chi Wu is about to be defeated by them but finally secured by his own masked brother. Chi Wen refuses to disclose his identity and trains Chi Wu to improve his skills. This time it is Chi Wu helping miss Chow in a fight against ruffians. Ju Yen also joins us as she hopes to get news of Chi Wen from Chi Wu. Chi Wu notices miss Chow has the same sword. Only twin thunderbolt blades can defeat devilish killer. Chi Wen takes the two swords in order to train himself. Chi Wu, miss Chow and Ju Yen defy the devilish killer. Will Chi Wen join them on time? They are finally defeated despite using tricks such as armor or water to extinguish fire bombs. Chi Wen arrives on time to defeat the devilish killer thanks to the twin thunderbolt blades. They are finally all safe and Chi Wen's face is restored thanks to his master. This Taiwanese movie 活閻王 was supposed to feature Thai famous actor Mitr Chaibancha but following his sudden death in 1970, he was finally replaced by Chaiya Suriyun. Mitr Chaibancha went to Hong Kong to play in three Wuxia films in his last year. But only "Flyer and Magic Sword" was completed. "Sword of Emei", "The Tiger and the Dragon" and “The Devilish Killer” were finished with other leading actor. This movie is also called " L'uomo della grande muraglia" overseas.

ลำพู is a Thai movie released in year 1970. 1h23mn is left so only three reels. Normally movies in decade 1960s~1970s often last two hours minimum. The picture is still colorful. The reels left are in 16mm format so the movie is mute as such format requires dubbing. Famous director Cherd Songsri is behind the camera. The below summary is based on understanding as there is no sound available. Choomporn (Choomporn Theppitak) and two young ladies, including Prim, have arguments in the market with local sellers. Few comics make fun of them. Sawin (Sawin Sawangrat), influential local man, is linked to Choomporn. Choomporn sees the comics during a fair and chases one of them. Petchara (Petchara Chaowarat) is dancing and wearing a beautiful traditional costume during this fair. Prim (Prim Praphaporn) is jealous of Petchara as Sombat (Sombat Methanee) is in relationship with Petchara. A few Isan songs are featured as singer is using a Kaen (แคน). The movie quits the countryside to the seaside where Sombat and Petchara have fun singing, playing unreal music instruments and playing in the water. Prim have arguments with Petchara while she is keeping her suitcase following her trip to seaside. Prim and Petchara are sisters? While Petchara is sick following overwork, her friends take care of her. Sombat is back from abroad. Prim wishes to become the official fiancee and to replace Petchara in Sombat’s heart. She organizes Sombat’s kidnapping but it fails. She finally drugs him. Meanwhile Petchara is kidnapped by Choomporn and Sawin. A huge storm is coming. Awaken, Sombat pushes back Prim and rushes to look for Petchara. People like Sawin struggles to bring their wealth with them but finally dies in house explosion following their greedy attitude. This movie is certainly one of the first Thai catastrophe movies. The movie includes real footage of a storm, i.e. Talumphuk storm in Nakhon Sri Thammarat on 27 october 1962. The severe storm called Talumphuk (ตะลุมพุก) devastated Pak Phanang coast and Talumphuk cape. It killed 769 inhabitants. Petchara falls from a passerelle during the storm. Sombat falls also during the storm. After the storm, many corpses can be seen. Sombat is looking for Petchara anxiously. She cannot be found. Petchara's friend blames Sombat. She is finally rescued by the hospital but her face is disfigured to the big delight of Prim. Petchara thinks about suicide but her mother prevents her. Sombat is still looking for Petchara despite her parents saying she has disappeared. Recognizing her clothes on a clothesline, he knows she is hiding in her parents’ home. She refuses Sombat's love as she is now ugly. Sombat promises to take care and to pay for hospital bills regarding facial surgery. Prim hires Choomporn, promising sweet rewards, to pour acid on Petchara’s face while she is recovering at hospital. He does so but does it on the wrong person! At a big party, Sombat is accompanied by Petchara back to her full beauty causing Prim’s wrath. The movie stops here.
