The "Pantamit" (พันธมิตร) collection includes many movies with Mitr Chaibancha. Their collection is named "Movie in my heart" (previously called "คิดถึงหนังไทย") and includes 90 titles (55 VCD and 35 DVD). It is also called XxX (Triple X).
For some movies they restored the image or put a new soundtrack and dialogues. So their movies are often sold more expensive than the other brands. Pantamit focus on movies 30-40 years old. Unfortunately Pantamit company with their "Movie in my heart" collection went bankrupt as they could't sell enough old movies to survive. Batches of 1000 DVDs were released. But even such limited quantities couldn't be sold completly.
The sad reality is that less and less people watch and buy old Thai movies. Many Betamax and VHS tapes were still in stock in "Pantamit" but were not released due the insufficient interest of Thai fan movies.
Around 10 years ago, a first collection called "I miss Thai movies" (คิดถึงหนังไทย) included many Thai old movies. Some of them were never released again. Pantamit bought the copyrights for 3 to 5 years. Some movies took a long time to sell the first stock (3000 VCDs) so some of them were never released again as the copyrights were already exhausted. There were sold 250 Baht, which was a high price at that time due to high remastering fees. Most of them were VCDs.
Very sad to see recently at BKP shop the collection "Movie in my heart" VCD only for 19 Baht. Cheaper than Lepso VCD but better movies! They were selling the old remaining stock. The founder of Triple X Films was a former dubber called Toh Pantamit (คุณโต๊ะพันธมิตร). Toh Pantamit, who released all those old Thai films, ended up broke and didn't have enough money to release any new titles.
Some people say Triple X could have been better transfer those old movies but because people wanted Mitr Chaibancha's films so badly, they rushed the process and in some cases, it did kill the film forever.
