Located at Nong Bua Village, Wat Nong Bua (วัดหนองบัว) was built in
1862
during King Rama IV's time by Thai Lu. The assembly hall of Wat Nong Bua is
in the traditional architectural style of Lanna.

Previously the Thai kingdom has many neighbouring kingdoms such as "Sip Song Pan Na" or สิบสองพันนา - Twelve thousand rice fields - now a province called Xishuangbanna in South China, "Lanna" or ล้านนา - one Million rice fields -, "Lan Chang" or ล้านช้าง - Land of a Million Elephants - now called Laos.

It is believed that the murals were painted in 1867.
It tools 21 years and was completed in 1888.
Everything about the hall is much simpler than that of Wat Phumin.

This pagoda is situated on the top of Khao Noi Hill.
The hill is 800 feet high and provides a good viewpoint for Phra That Chae Hang.

Sao Din is a natural geological occurrence located about 10 kms from Na Noi district.
The site is characterized by a large earthen mould eroded by the elements through the ages,
leaving only hard earthen columns, whose exotic shapes and forms.
