Tsim Sha Tsui or TST is an urbanized area in the Yau Tsim Mong District in southern Kowloon. Yau Tsim Mong District covers three areas, i.e. Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok.
The Kowloon-Canton Railway commenced service in 1910. Kowloon Station
was located in Tsim Sha Tsui. The Kowloon Station was relocated to a new Hung Hom Station in
1978. The whole station and rails
were demolished except the landmark Clock Tower.

The Hong Kong Cultural Centre was constructed on the site
of the former southern terminus of the Kowloon-Canton Railway.
