A dispute over plans to redevelop part of the Mosque complex into a lucrative real estate divides the local Muslim community. Mosque leaders want to build an Islamic university, a library and a commercial plaza. But the land is also home to 25 families who have lived in dilapidated homes within the complex since World War II. The families have objected to the redevelopment plan.
